So you really think Howard can play the next 16 games in a row, as well as the 6 straight he's already played?

That's what I sort of meant. But still, I was hoping they'd handle it better with the older players, even though they're not used to this pressure. Guess I was wrong.

But those veteran players are leaders too, not just the guy wearing the C. They look like a fish out of water right now, unable to grasp the idea of regular season games being just as important as playoff games.

Does anyone else think Howard is too gassed and has played well more games than he can handle? He's been very poor lately and is giving up too many key goals.

The Wings are a bandwagon team. They don't show up all the time to play hard.

This has got to be the worst 3rd period team in the NHL. No effort and no heart. Also, no goaltending. Howard always seems to f*** up in the 3rd and can't come up with any key saves.

Put Ozzie in just to make it ******* academic. We don't want to make the playoffs. These players want to ******* golf.

Even the last 2 games we won, we got outplayed in the 3rd period. This team just has no heart to finish a game.

I agree. Fillpulla is holding the team back and needs to be demoted to the 4th line.

He has some of the worst balance I've ever seen in a player. Constantly stumbling and falling around everywhere.

We certainly have the talent now to explode on teams offensively. Earlier in the season, we couldn't do stuff like this because of injuries.

That's what the mentality seems to be. We don't have any second chances on Kiprusoff because no one is crashing the net. Plain laziness by the Wings.

Calgary looks like they want it more than us. That pisses me off.

I hate to say it, but Calgary owned us in the period. They know our weakness, which is point coverage. Too many point shots given up by the Wings. They were much better at cycling too, while our chances were one and done. Good road period by Calgary and I expected more from the Wings.

He can't skate, though. Canada had gritty scoring forwards who could also skate.
