I agree. These players appear to have no desire whatsoever of making the playoffs. Why should we be optimistic about them when they're not trying? It's hard to have sympathy for a team with so much talent that doesn't show up at home in a critical game, against a depleted defense playing in back to back nights. f*** this team.

That's because you're living in the past. We have too many has-been's on our team. Even our top players aren't playing as well as they used to. Look at Vancouver and how many guys they have this year overachivieng. All our guys are underachievers.

This is why Vancouver is a playoff team and we're not. They play hard, make smart decisions and have a goalie they can always rely on. Our players play hard when they feel like it, make stupid decisions in the neutral zone, and have two goalies which are shaky in net. Nice going Wings, We didn't need this one anyway.

Let's give a round of applause to our favorite whipping boy for making it through the deadline. What would we do without him? I know some will think this is not a big deal, but with Lilja's long-term health still being a question mark and Ericsson looking like Doink "The Clown" out there, we'll probably see Lebda play again this year.

Still waiting for that Zetterberg Fillpulla combination that we never seem to see. Also, we've already given up 14 shots on goal. That's on pace for over 40 shots and we need to limit that. Giving up tons of shots is something we've struggled with over the last month or so before the Olympics.
