Pretty sad, isn't it? Cleary looked awful as well, although in his defense, he's not supposed to be on the top 6.

There's about 6 teams now battling for that final spot, and outside of Calgary, every one of them is playing better than us. If I was a betting man, I'd take one of those 6 teams ahead of the Wings as far as the chance of making the playoffs.

Seems like every important guy on the team is having a career worst season, except for Howard. They just look too scared out there and don't seem to have confidence anymore offensively. Defensively, they're just getting out of the way and trying to see how good Howard is. There's no other explanation for this defense.

What exactly is the status of Bertuzzi's injury? I'm only asking because he looked like he had s*** in his pants from the way he was playing.

I don't care what you're laughing at. The Wings did not play a great game. We were badly outshot and outplayed. We needed Howard to salvage a point for us. If you call that a great game, then the Wings are f***ed as a team because our standards have greatly lowered.

Blame our PP for not winning in the OT. Seems like every other team in the West does good against the Pens and the rest of the East. We're just not as good as the teams we're chasing. On paper we are, but not on the ice. We're lucky we even got a point in this game.

Howard had a good game, but found a way to blow it in the shootout. Hope Kronwall is O.K. If not, we're not going to the playoffs.
