I don't know how to react seeing the defense playing so poor. Usually, I'd blame Lebda, but the fool isn't even playing in this game.

This team appears to have no faith in itself the way they're playing now. How can you blame the fans for not having it either?

We finally start scoring some goals these last two games, and finally get Lidstrom and Datsyuk scoring. However, now the defense is standing around and looking into the stands instead of on the ice. These jokers just can't put a complete game together, let alone a string of games together.

I don't know whether I should get excited anymore during games. If we score first or even second and go up by 2 goals, I'm going to remember all these games we choked away. Obviously, I'm going to also be nervous if we go down first or go down by a few goals. Either way, it's hard to get excited about anything this team does anymore. I don't have much confidence in them keeping any leads, and neither does the team itself based on the way they're playing.

It's been a nervous year for the Wings. First, the nerves of possibly losing the Stanley Cup at home to Crosby, and now the nerves of missing the playoffs. I just hope our worst fears don't come true again, and this team can actually make it into the playoffs.

Not really. Why should we have more injuries than everyone else? I'd like to see Calgary lose 250 man games to injury to even things up. Let's see how they handle it. Same with Dallas.

Boogaard is not a cheap shot artist. I would trade 20 Leino's for one guy like that in our future.

Most of our top players are going to the Olympics, except for Franzen. The fact that Jason Williams is going to rest isn't going to help the rest of the team. The Olympics are a grind where you play many games in few days. That's not good rest for the top stars, especially the older players like Lidstrom, Rafalski and Homer.

In your dreams HR40. Lilja can have any woman in Detroit, or Sweden for that matter.

On paper this is one of the top teams in the league, even with 3 or 4 guys injured right now, so it's a mental thing. What I want to see is the leaders on this team actually look like leaders, but this appears to be an immature team right now that always does the same s*** every game. Thus, I can't think of a deadline move that can fix this team, especially with the cap situation The best thing I can think of is to play Lilja with Janik or Meech, to get rid of Ericsson and Lebda for the time being. I'd also split the euro twins to get more scoring from the top two lines. Finally, I'd make Ozzie the starter again since Howard appears gassed. However, this Olympic break coming up couldn't come at a worse time, because the team needs to go on a run, instead they'll be going to the Olympics. Thus any move they make won't have much time to gel. Bottom line is that they have the talent, but are underachieving. They remind me of those Rangers teams in the late 90's and early 00's, who had all that talent, but had trouble making the playoffs. Bunch of underachievers.

It'd be better for us if it was one of their top players, but I guess this will do. Now if only Calgary had someone..........

I'd trade Leino for a bag of pucks, let alone for an NHL calibur player like Mayers.

You've been saying that all year, but at this point it should become apparent to you that it isn't just some snag they've hit, but that they're just not that good a team this season. Oh and if they miss the playoffs, you won't really care that much, so I don't know why you're blaming some of us for being more passionate about the team than you.

Frankly, it doesn't seem like they give a damn. When the same problems keep occuring every night, it becomes apparent that a team isn't good enough or motivated enough to overcome those problems.

If not, I'm going to complain some more. I'm warning you already.

Point *****? Those are points we had in the bag. Don't forget, we're only a few points away from 13th in the West. Calgary isn't the only team to worry about, and now we've given the teams above us some distance in the standings. These last two games could have given us more breathing room.

Just think if we hadn't f***ed up these last two games, we'd be 4 points up on Calgary.
