Now I can see why Team Sweden didn't put Ericsson on their Olympic team. Anyone else think Lilja and Meech should be the 3rd pairing when Lilja returns?

I agree. Howard looked scared out there at the end of the 3rd. Shots kept bouncing off his glove, and he was having a hard time with rebounds. Also, he was flopping around like an idiot on that OT goal. He needs a break. This is the worst Wings team since the early 90's, and a rookie goalie shouldn't be the one having to play behind these losers.

Lilja needs to get Ericsson into an alley and teach him how to play like a man. We don't need another Uwe Krupp or Maxim Kuznetsov. I had high hopes for Ericsson as a big, tough defenseman, but this guy is an idiot and a waste. I'm beginning to think he's like most big Euro defenseman. A puss who's a waste of size and can't clear the front of the net properly.

Lidstrom was great offensively, but wasn't very good in his own end. That icing play with 30 seconds left and the inability to tie up the stick in front on the tying goal is proof.

Stuart has been awful the last 10 games. He needs to jump Max Talbot this Sunday, and beat him to a pulp, to clear his conscience.

Ericsson should have his name legally changed to Uwe Krupp. This ***** is a pylon that never clears the crease. A big waste of size.
