Hey, all teams above us have been better than us this year, which is why we're 9th and they're in the playoff picture. They don't lose 6-0 to the Islanders, and beat teams like Washington and Pittsburgh. I'm right when I say that we currently don't belong in the playoffs. The teams above us are more consistent, hence they have better records. Tough s*** if some of you have to swallow that fact.

Will someone please start a thread about how Bertuzzi is the most undisciplined player on the team and always takes stupid penalties at the most inopportune moments? I'm too lazy to do it now, but he's getting on my nerves with all the stupid penalties he takes, many in the offensive zone. What a goof.

We don't belong in the playoffs. Every Western Conference team seems to play better against the East than us. Even when we outplay the other team badly, we still lose. Figures.
-
Who did I rape in my previous life, to have to witness Meech and Stuart on the PP together in this one?
-
Rafalski f***s up again and gets Lidsrom into the box.
-
Babcock should put Leino at the end of the bench, and give him a clipboard.
-
See post above. Lilja could. Chelios did too for a while.
-
It does, except for Williams being there. He's not willing to work along the boards like the other two players on that line. His laziness could rub off on them.
-
Wow, that's pretty bad.
-
SCF, game 2.
-
Lilja did. Then again, Lilja is the kind of man who has chemistry with everyone.
-
Ericsson and Lebda are like Ben and J-Lo out there. No chemistry whatsoever.
-
No wonder we're basically dead last in the West in goals scored. We've totally owned them, yet have only 1 goal to show for it.
-
We need to capitalize on all these chances, because Washington is a high scoring team. You don't want to give them so much breathing room. Bert needs to shoot the damn puck.
-
Decent period, but against a guy like Theodore, you'd like to see more success with so many shots and two chances on the powerplay. Hopefully, our defense will continue to play well. Too bad Rafalski has to go up against Ovechkin and not LIdstrom. I don't trust Raffi on defense

Raycroft had a better year that year and I believe he at least made the All-Star team. Jackman has never been considered for any kind of All-Star or Olympic team. For a Calder trophy winner, he hasn't improved much at all as a defenseman. He is now what he was then.

Blackhawk fans think they've already won the Stanley Cup.

Homer who? The Greek poet? I put Holmstrom on my first line. Williams to me isn't a grinder, nor is he a top 6 player when everyone returns. I guess you could put him on the 4th line if you want, but I didn't think it was feasible.

If you weren't so tall, Pronger would have likely fought you. That's funny s*** that you said that to them, though.
-
It's about time blueadams starter a line thread. Here goes. Bertuzzi - Datsyuk - Holmstrom Fillpulla - Zetterberg - Franzen Cleary - Helm - Abdelkalder (awesomest checking line ever) 4th line would just be the leftovers, with Draper being the obvious center. Oh and yes, Williams would likely sit, since I can't envision him as a 4th liner.

May. He's Canadian and he fights. Case closed.

Right now I feel like Steve Martin in the "The Jerk" with this job market being what it is. I'll take your word for it, doc. I'm sure if he made it through school and all, his brain is fine, even though it's been overworked and overused.
-
So in other words, he does one more thing out there than Leino can do?
-
I'm not a medical expert, but I don't see why concussions would affect what he does for a living, unless it's some physical behavior like say playing sports.

I hate Ott, so I'm not surprised. Anyway, I wasn't intending for this thread to be one about tough guys, as much as asking people if they had any idea that Grimson turned to law school after hockey. I've met many lawyers before and gone on various firm sites, but never saw a legendary NHL enforcer as one of the attorneys at a firm. He was also a nut during his playing days, so it's funny to see how different he is off the ice.
