Here's how I look at it. All those teams above us have been better than us this season. Especially against the East. That's why they're higher in the standings than us. We need to win at the same pace as the teams above us, or else they belong in the playoffs and we don't.

Superstars are supposed to put a team on their back in times of trouble. That's what separates good players from superstar players. This season, Datsyuk and Zetterberg have shown that they're no longer playing like superstar players. They're not in the same class as a Malkin, Crosby or Ovechkin as others have claimed in the past. Those guys can carry a team.

I agree. I'm not above calling out May when need be. He should have gone after Ott in this game and basically forced the little s*** into a fight. May didn't do his job very well in this game.
