Troll? This coming from a guy who's been here for 2 months. I said what I felt like saying and what I believe to be true. Don't like it. Too bad.

Our problem are those has-been's wearing numbers 13 and 40, who are averaging less than a point per game this season. The homers on this site need to call these players out instead of babying them all the time. Also, Babcock has done a poor job motivating this team game to game. He may look like a fierce and angry coach, but these players seem to be oblivious to him this season. Osgood's delay getting on the ice is embarassing. This team is an inconsistent joke right now.

Once a spade always a spade. That gave me chills of last year's game 7.

I'm becoming more and more convinced that injuries aren't the problem with this team. It's the laziness of the star players that happens to be a problem. They look good against Phoenix, then they take 2 games off agaisnt LA and Anaheim. Then they look marvelous against San Jose. Then it's this s***. It's all about effort, and this team doesn't have it consistently from its top guys. The injuries are an overrated problem with this team.

Brian Rafalski is the "human f***up machine". So how many games should we gave Zetterberg before the posters here stop babying him and talking about how he needs time to get back to shape?
-
OMFG, we got a shot on goal!

I've never heard of these ******* player the Islanders have on their team.

That San Jose game looks like a dream right now. Bunch of inconsistent bastards is what this Wings team is.
-
Story of the season. Even more so than the injuries.

I didn't know the playoffs began this weekend. Let's face it, this team isn't good enough to put together the kind of consistent efforts needed for a playoff team. Our stars players have taken the 1st period off.

I don't think this "dump and don't chase" system is going to work.
-
Has Babcock decided not to play the 1st line tonight?
-
So much for this game being easy.
-
I don't think Leino wants to take steroids.
-
The pro-softness posters are pretty happy, however.

When a guy doesn't play hard, no game is a good game to get him into.

Is Sean Avery the Best Agitator in League History?
GMRwings1983 replied to GMRwings1983's topic in General
Avery is a better offensive player than you guys give him credit for, although I don't see what that has to do with the discussion. -
Carolina doesn't have a heavyweight either. We could be in for Leino two games in a row here. Thanks Babcock.

Randy McKay was a really good fighter. Much better than those guys you have him tied with. I think he was underlooked on everyone's list, including mine. Lapointe was never much more than a hugger, so I don't know why all you guys think he was such a good fighter.

Is Sean Avery the Best Agitator in League History?

I don't. That's what ignorant people who have no regard for history usually do. I honestly think Avery is the greatest agitator who I can think of in league history, and not because I live in this era. Hell, if I had a choice, I wish I was living in the 80's era of hockey. -
Howard to start vs. Isles, Big E eyes return vs. 'Canes

Everytime Howard starts, Doc Holliday gets that much closer to his impending mental illness. -
Let's hope he's found a better agent.

Is Sean Avery the Best Agitator in League History?

Samuelsson wasn't as much an agitator as a dirty player, which is why everyone hated him. No one, including Avery himself, was as good as cheapshots as Samuelsson. That's why people wanted to punch him, and not because of any trash talk he was good at. -

Now that I think about it, Tikkanen had that whole "Tiki Talk" thing, where no one could understand what the hell he was saying. Hence, he was sort of an agitator, except you didn't know what he just said. -

I don't remember if Tikkanen and Ulfie spoke English well enough to agitate people with what they said. Can't believe I forgot Lemieux, but I think Avery is a better agitator than him and is possibly even more hated. The only guy that comes close in my mind is Barnaby, but even he pales in comparison to Avery.
