Should we start congratulating other teams for making the playoffs ahead of us already? Our chances are getting worse and worse every week. Now this s*** happens. As if our PP didn't suck enough as it is. Now Bertuzzi is the only guy who can screen the goalie with Franzen and Homer out.

Good news. Why should we be the only team to have injuries? We need these other teams around us to start suffering some horrible injuries left and right. Besides, this throat contusion will likely shut Ribeiro up for once.

Against Philly a few years ago. Also against Anaheim in the playoffs in 2007 and Calgary that same year. There's other examples too, but I'm not ready to give you a dissertation on it. You should know better. The Wings have backed down from fights in the past with the sissy lineups they put out there. That's where the whole PP is our enforcer crap came from.

Injuries are a part of hockey. When players allow themselves to get bullied because they're afraid of injuries, that means they're a ***** team. I'm glad our guys don't play by the same philosophy you think they should be playing by. They stood up for themselves last night. That's all I was talking about with my posts. It'd be nice if they could put the puck in the net, but the fights didn't prevent that from happening.

Well, Hudler is sort of Russian now that he's spent a season in the KHL. There's also that Kovalchuk guy that people want to have instead of Lidstrom. -
He's played 2 games the last two years, both times getting injured. No, I'm not kidding.

If he can actually hit the net on his shot, then he's already better than what we've had this season.

Those are your excuses, not mine. I for one think Hossa just wasn't up to the challenge and pressure of the moment. Hence, a playoff choker. And before you go there, yes Datsyuk choked also and has been a playoff choker many times throughout his career as well.

I don't remember any cheapshots. The Wings looked so unmotivated, that a simple bodycheck from the other team could be considered a cheapshot, since the Wings appeared to be playing a different sport than Anaheim was. Not much hitting out there from the team whatsoever. Kind of sad when you consider that they have 3 checking lines, yet don't play hard every game.

It's because of Stuart and Janik that we're 9th in GAA. Otherwise, we'd be much lower because of how small and soft we are.
