Yeah that Hossa is a real stud when it comes to the regular seasons. Besides, Jordan's Bulls never had to rely on someone like Cristobal Huet to be their most important player come playoff time.
-
The one good thing in this game is that the Wings actually bullied the Ducks for a change. Brookbank and Ryan both pussed out before their fights got started. I know the anti-enforcer posters are going to tell me that we lost the game, but we didn't lose because we played tough. We lost because our skilled players like to take nights off. Hopefully, the tide has turned as far as the toughness of this rivalry goes.
-
So wait, how many fights did we have in this game total? I know there was one sure fight, but the other three looked like *** wrestling matches.
-
I think this Wings team is content with using injuries as an excuse. The star players are very inconsistent. Datsyuk was invisible tonight. Homer didn't do much either. Rafalski sucks balls. It's like they're waiting to be bailed out by injured players returning, rather than stepping up themselves. This was just a s*** effort by everyone.

Howard should fight Hitler.
-
Will May please suckerpunch Perry into a coma.
-
PARALYZER!!!!!! Let there be a brawl God. Please God please.
-
Maybe it was a good thing losing game 7 to the Pens last year. It'd be embarrassing to be back to back champions, and then miss the playoffs the following season.
-
Can't complain about injuries when guys like Rafalski and Lidstrom are making boneheaded plays by turning pucks over. What should we expect from scrubs like Meech and Lebda if our top players are screwing up?
-
Rafalski doing what he does best in the defensive zone. Turning it over.

Take that Det #1 Fan.

Maybe yet another fight is what we need to wake this team up. Datsyuk challenging Niedermayer for a rematch. That'll boost the team.
-
I'm glad you're an avid reader of my posts. Everything I said today was right, BTW.

This team needs to stop babying Zetterberg and Cleary and any other players who are close to returning. We don't need them healthy in time for the golf course in mid-April. We need them to play now, meaning it should have happened tonight and better happen tomorrow. They'll likely be 8 or 9 points out of a playoff spot by the end of the road trip if this s***ty play keeps up against LA and San Jose.
-
Meech can't even beat a europuss. This guy sucks at everything.
-
We can't get one good shot on goal. Pathetic.
-
Typical Red Wings. It always takes longer for our injured players to heal than for other teams.
-
Great period guys. Way to show some determination and willingness to make the playoffs.
-
Bertuzzi should challenge Getzlaf now.
-
f*** you Janik!!! Should have thrown that punch. The Ducks would do that against us. Must punish the kid for his bad balance.
-
Neither are we.
-
The games against LA and San Jose will be a lot tougher. This is a must win.

A few years ago, I started a similar thread, and Chris Pronger wound up being the guy more people placed number one on their list, than any other player. I thought it'd be a fun idea to start a similar thread, to see where people stand today. Oh, I also decided to include only NHL'ers, which is why Forsberg didn't make the list. My list: 1. Chris Pronger 2. Sidney Crosby 3. Jordin Tootoo 4. Barrett Jackman 5. Milan Lucic

Damn! I was hoping to see Leino fight Parros.

Brad May must have pissed in Eva's soup. The guy doesn't understand a damn thing about May's role on the team, and is yet another anti-enforcer poster. How May can be a D- on anyone's list is beyond me. Also, Lidstrom was graded too well on Khan's list. His defense this season has been around an A-, but offensively, I can't give him any higher than a C-
