He was a better player in 2007. I'm glad he's played well these last few games, but that doesn't erase his subpar season. Time will tell how good a signing this was.

Just saw the replay of the game. Great to get two points after blowing that lead, even though Nashville got that one point. The PP continues to look s***ty out there. Boy we're lucky that Bertuzzi is hot right now, because Pavel and Hank are continuing to suck with their shots. Overall, a pretty good finish on back to back nights.

I thought Ericsson would fill in for Lilja in the "manhood" department, but he just stands there in front of the net and takes up space like Uwe Krupp used to do. Stuart is afraid to fight anyone and is more of an open ice hitter than a guy who'll clear the crease. This team is more North American than in the past, but it still doesn't do anything when someone takes liberties against our goalies. Other than Brad May, I haven't seen much anger from anyone else, and even May has been involved in more staged fights than retaliatory fights.

I'm flattered by the comparison, but mindfly was voted far and away the most irritating poster on LGW. I finished a meager second. Besides, I have nothing against mindfly. He's my enforcer here on LGW. If not for him, I'd get a lot more s*** from posters. Instead, he gets most of that kind of attention along with Jake Ryan. Lilja will be captain when he comes back. He looks like the guy from that movie 300, so he has natural leadership qualities. He blocks shots, fights for his teammates and is better looking than Zetterberg. This is a no brainer to me.

When you go down 2-0 in pretty much every game, then you are pretty bad as a team. We need better starts, and we need our top 3 players to step up and score goals, instead of breaking their sticks and missing nets wide. I'm glad that our PK has finally gotten some good play recently. Unfortunately, the PP has tailed off a bit, but that will fix itself.
