Whatever Babcock is doing to spark this team, it isn't working. And before anyone mentions injuries, there's Lidstrom, Datsyuk, Zetterberg and Bertuzzi. Pretty sure those guys aren't currently out of the lineup. They're not playing like stars right now.

I want Bertuzzi to paralyze Perry.

I hope Franzen brings his golf clubs by the time he returns. Then he can join his teammates on the course.

Hey, it's not Brad May's fault that his teammates are made of glass. The only injury I can recall off a sheapshot was Kronwall's, and I don't think May was even playing that night. The other injuries were just guys made of glass easily breaking. Not much anyone can do about that, even if we had 5 Proberts playing in the lineup in those games.

Going into this game, Datsyuk had 7 goals on 74 shots, with just over 20 minutes of icetime. At the same time, Draper had 6 goals on 44 shots with about 12 minutes of icetime. What is up with Datsyuk? I know the whole team is struggling, but this s*** started last year before the playoffs for him. How did he all of a sudden become so pathetic offensively? Is he hiding some injury? Was he possessed by aliens in mid April? I know his defensive game is still solid, but a star player is supposed to carry a team offensively, especially when the team needs them like we need him now. I'm beginning to think that Datsyuk is only a star when everyone else is playing well. In other words just a very talented passenger on an offensive machine. I hate to make this analogy, but can you imagine Crosby or Ovechkin sucking this bad offensively even if they have as many injuries as we have right now? I can't. To me, he's not a top 10 NHL player anymore. Oh and don't blame the linemates. Draper has only one less goal and look who his linemates are.

Some men you just can't reach. I've always thought that 2nd line was better for some reason.

Lebda is the Sandra Bullock of the Red Wings. How someone with so little talent and appeal has been able to stick around this long is beyond me. There's a few D-men in Grand Rapids that we've had the last few years that are better than him.

Your third defensive pairing is really awesome. Oh and having Bertuzzi playing on the same line as a piece of steak is also interesting.

What is the latest on his injury? It seems like everyone here has started a thread asking when Franzen/Flip/Kronwall are coming back, but everybody has forgotten Williams. I'm not a big fan of his, but right now we could use him in the lineup (never thought I'd say that )

10 goals in almost 30 games is not amazing. Many people here think of him as a 40 or potentially 50 goal scorer as was evidenced in offseason threads. He's disappointed this year, even though he's been our best forward. He just looks good compared to our other forwards statistically.

How many players on other teams have we injured in head to head play? This s*** seems to go one way only.

He was way too tough for a Euro. That's why he couldn't last in the NHL. When he dropped the gloves with Thornton in the playoffs, that was his death knell in Detroit.
