The conference is so condensed, that we're also a few points away from being last in the Western conference. You don't want the Wings to have to battle against 4 or 5 other teams just to finish in 8th, do you? It's hard to climb over so many other teams.

Does Lidstrom ever plan on scoring another goal again? This is exactly the time when your captain and best player has to step it up offensively and carry this team. I haven't seen that all season from him.

Why isn't Maltby playing tonight? He has one of the best shooting percentages on the team and has scored as often as Bertuzzi and Leino.
