When is Lilja supposed to be coming back, anyway? Meech is a waste of space, as is Lebda. Ericsson is starting to remind me of Uwe Krupp out there. We need Lilja back immediately.

The worst part about these injuries is their long-term status. None of our guys are coming back anytime soon and we already look like we can't score goals anymore even strength. I never really respected Laraque as an enforcer (because he's a stupid wrestler), but now I respect him even less. He did that s*** on purpose, most likely because of Kronwall's reputation as a guy who's a dirty hitter himself at times. No way that was accidental.

Are you sure it isn't because of their penises, as you always point out? I for one know that Lilja is not to blame for any of this. He's the only light right now in this dark tunnel. That man has never turned the puck over in a big game like these other shmucks. Can't wait till he returns.

Lebda is wasting space, but with Lilja injured, what do we do. Meech and Delmore both suck. Should we put Draper on defense?

If I'm a Hawks fan, and my captain gets hit, I want to see retribution. Nothing wrong with Chicago trying to go after Mitchell. They're not going to pat him on the back and say "great hit Willy, way to lay out our captain with a clean one". Why should they wait until later in the game, providing the right opportunity even comes up? Mitchell knew there'd be instant retribution, so he wasn't exactly surprised at their reaction.

That's what I thought during the last Olympics, but the U.S. team looked overmatched then. I think those teams I mentioned adapt better to Olympic style hockey. Then again, the U.S. had a really slow team during the last Olympics, so maybe this time it may be different.

I honestly think the U.S. is the 7th best team in the tournament behind Canada, Russia, Sweden, Finland, Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2002, they were competing for the Gold, but it seems like the state of American hockey has really gone down since then. Also, the other countries have gotten better, especially Finland and Slovakia. I'm not expecting this team to win a medal. They have some talent, but nothing to brag about compared to other teams.

Umm, anytime your opponent s***s his pants during a squareoff, you win the fight, even if no punches land. Phaneuf lost that fight based on that. You do realize that Asham got destroyed by Nathan Horton, right?

Rypien is like 5'9 170 pounds. That's how much Lilja eats every day. Just because he beat Tina the other night doesn't mean he's ready to move up in weight class.

Why are the Wings committing so many turnovers?

Anytime a team tries to make pretty plays all the time, they're going to be susceptible to turnovers. The Wings like to make quick fancy passes out of their own zone instead of making the safe play. That often works to create rushes for us, however, that can also result in turnovers. -
