If Markov and Zubov don't play, then you're right about Russia's defense being weak. If those 2 players and Gonchar do play, however, they're most likely the best team in the tournament. -

If May does go with Koci, I don't like his chances. He looked gassed at the end of that fight against McCleod, who got the good punches in late. -

Either a draw or a slight edge for May. Kind of disappointing, since he should be able to handle McCleod easily. Then again, he is 38 years old. -
I hope this doesn't turn into another Troy Crowder or Tony Twist like situation. I hate it when tough guys have their careers cut short by injury.

Buffalo and Chicago didn't dress enforcers against us when May was playing. Our PK is the other team's enforcer. As for Eaves, he's a nobody, so what did you guys expect?

Sammy gets more chicks. Plus, he's waayyy more fun to watch out there. A very unorthodox player if there ever was one.

It still is. We're currently on pace for 82, which is nowhere near the playoffs.

Our PK finally found a solution. Make the other team take penalties to shorten their PP. That looks better on our percentage.

Good win and good to see Hank and Lidstrom put up some points. Defense is still very shaky. Ozzie had to make too many saves in this game.

Are the Wings purposely playing bad in their own zone to keep the game close or something? This is pathetic to watch right now. At least Ozzie decided to take this game seriously.
