ABC drops Gray's Anatomy and Dancing With the Stars in favor of broadcasting primetime NHL games throughout the week. Bettman's had this ace up his sleeve for a while now. Just wait and see.

I also say 25. Hard to think that at one time this guy was pushing around 100 points per season, and was the most dominant power forward in the game.

Last year this was our biggest weakness in the regular season and playoffs. I think they need to use less forward combos, because it's better to have designated PK men, rather than having every damn forward out there killing penalties. I know Babcock does it to keep people fresh, but it also seems to kill the rhythm and flow of the PK. They need to attack the point men more often. We don't do a good job of blocking shots or of challenging the point, which is where most goals against were scored last year on the PK. Too many screens and deflection goals as a result of poor point coverage. It seems like the Wings like to collapse, instead of expand the box. Also, the goalie has to be the best penalty killer, and Ozzie sucked at it all year, including the playoffs that he played well in otherwise.

Enrico Ciccone would be an improvement over Meech. I wouldn't mind Dandenault here over either Lebda or Meech.

Honestly, I haven't figured out what I'll do as of yet. There are several options, but either way I'll be pissed having to pay extra for something I was already getting. Kind of like a drug, when you think about it. I have to save my money, but I also need my hockey fix.

I'll change my line of thinking and vote Joe Thornton. You know the guy that leads the league in assists ever year. And before anyone mentions the playoffs, what has Chara done in the playoffs lately? Thornton should have been picked in the top 10 somewhere.

See, I knew Williams had that physicality that we need in a 3rd liner. This is why I wanted him signed. Nobody will mess with J-Will again.

Leino is too unproven to be on the 2nd line, and Helm is too good to be a 4th liner. Eaves gives us nothing that we don't already have. I'd sit him in favor of May most of the time, especially since you have him on the 4th line, and May is way more of a 4th line checker than Eaves is.

They better be, or else DirecTV just hates hockey. Versus is one thing, but CenterIce is completely different. They have shown it in the past on DirecTV.
