I have ESP also. Big deal. Hudler isn't as good a two-way player as either of those guys. Cleary does it all for us. Flip is a different issue, but we don't want to overpay Hudler just because we also did that with Flip.
-
Yes. Especially since Kopecky was actually signed by someone for more than a buck. I guess that means he's better than Draper.
-
If they booed Fedorov, they should boo Hossa.
-
I've always wanted Grier to play for us just because he's from Detroit. I know he fights like a puss, but he does play physical hockey and is a decent two-way player. Moen and Winchester would be ideal also, especially since Winchester came off a hell of a season for the Blues scoring more goals than anyone expected from him. Of course, by tomorrow none of these guys will likely be left, while Holland will still be sitting around talking about next year's trade deadline where we'll likely get another Kyle Calder.

Did it ever occur to you that MAYBE THEY PLAY DIFFERENT ROLES, DUDE?
-
He creates some kind of strange man crush for almost half of LGW. This guy gets way too much love around here for some euro squirt that plays in spurts.
-
He's too inconsistent a player for me to care whether he stays or goes. I haven't forgotten his disappearing act the 2nd half of the playoffs.
-
Yeah, thanks for taking away playing time from more deserving players in GR.
-
They were booing him the last few games of the Finals when he was a Wing, thus there's no reason not to boo him now. Hell, they booed Fedorov for crying out loud. Hossa did s*** for us compared to what Sergei did.
-
Why is everyone so in love with this guy all of a suddeen? He had a good season, but that's hardly much to go on for a huge signing.
-
Were you trying to find a video link of all the big plays Hossa made in the SCF?
-
We're not going to be any better with that roster the OP posted. Cleary is not a 1st line player, and Hudler and Flip are too inconsistent to be solid top 6 forwards.
-
I hope he does for them in the playoffs what he did for us. Choke and underachive.
-
Hawks fans being the idiots that they are got excited just because they got someone from the Wings. They didn't even bother doing any research before their excitement. Apparently they like to play with our s***. Literally.

Hopefully Holland lands Cory Cross before the day is over.

It's all good. Franzen is more than capable of being our enforcer next year, if Lilja is still hurt.
-
Now he'll get to play with his ***** Patrick Sharp. Priceless. I don't think he'll fit on their roster, though, since they like to have physical players on their 4th line.
-
Well, look at it this way, at least we won't be losing any playoff goals with Hossa gone. Ooooooooohhhhhhhhh. That was nasty, GMR. All right, I'm done for the night. I love you all!!
-
Yeah, but why pick on Jerkwater? Sammy and Huds will be replaced with other players. After all, Holland is a god, right?
-
He did a few pages ago.

I don't see how having one tough guy or more players like Helm who play hard on every shift is going to prevent the Wings from having a skilled team. I don't remember Downey somehow making our skilled players suck, since he didn't even play with skilled players. Guys in the top 6 aren't going to be negatively affected by an enforcer. I'm basing that on how it was with Downey. The team didn't miss a beat with him in the lineup. I'd rather see a guy like that fight than seeing our other players do it.

I thought this was the "I hate Hossa thread"?
-
Tell us how you really feel about North American players, especially enforcers? First you alluded to them as talentless thughs, now they take stupid penalties.
-
It saves money. We have enough scoring already, even without Hossa. What we need is more physicality and someone to set the tempo on the 4th line.
