You missed the point of my post again. Last year we didn't let any of the series go 7 games, even though we could have done so three times. This team showed me a lot more character and finishing instinct last year than they have done now. So yeah, I got it.

We need to sign 20 Boogaard type players.

Last year the Wings won three game 6's on the road, and came out with a killer instinct for each game. This team showed tonight how glaringly different they are from last year's team. It's lazy efforts like tonight that separate the contenders from the pretenders.

When was the last time the Wings won an elimination game?

Whatever I'm smoking isn't nearly as powerful as what Datsyuk is on right now. If Helm is the only guy playing better than expected, then we're really in trouble, since it means our star players are underachieving. Helm is a freaking 4th liner.

He sucked in 2003, 2004 and 2006. He needs to have fluid pumped into his heart for the way he's played in this series.

Datsyuk has had more bad playoff performances than good ones. Also, I hate to say it, but it's been a while since Lidstrom has had a great offensive game. He needs to do a better job of getting pucks through on his shots. Too many are being blocked right now. Really, many players are underachieving, but Datsyuk has been the worst.

Sadly, I agree. If he only winds up with 1 assist in the series, then he did choke. Even Joe Thornton played better than this against the Ducks, yet all of us here were making fun of him. Look how well superstars like Crosby, Malkin and Oveckin have played in these playoffs, and then look at Datsyuk. Now you know why those guys are put on a higher pedestal than him.

Well, on the bright side, Maltby has been terrific in this series.

I just hope the game doesn't go into OT. It's hard to predict what will happen. Logic says that game 7 means a team will come out playing hard, but with this team you never know. They've been impassionate many times this season so I wouldn't be surprised if they gave another lazy ass effort in the next game. I just don't want to see us lose to this team yet again, even though I have a slight inkling that doing so would result in less soft euros being on the roster next season.

He's overrated in his own zone as his plus/minus shows every year. Also, he turns the puck over way too much, right before the announcers have orgasms talking about his speed and the ability to chase guys down after he turns the puck over. He's a Hall of Famer, but should never be mentioned on any list of greatest defensemen ever.

Ever since his injuries starting plaguing him, he has slowly deteriorated in his production level. At this point, he's honestly not a top 6 forward. Play him with Sammy on the 4th line and maybe then he'll play a little harder and better.

He has "Robert Lang Syndrome". They say it can't be cured.

Neither did the team tonight. Why should we post nice things about players who came out with absolutely no effort, and have done so several times in this series? Like I said, the fact that it's even going 7 proves that the Wings only play hard when they feel like it. This series has no business going 7 games.

Not my fault Datsyuk has sucked this series. Oh but he's playing hard, thus we must give him a break. He better hope the playoffs truly don't matter in post season award voting, because he doesn't deserve any award that he's up for except for the Lady Byng, which he really deserves after his fight versus a 35+ old visor wearing *****.

Parros is a *****. His balance sucks and Downey kicked his ass last year as have more than half the guys who fought him. Niedermayer is a visor wearing ***** himself. Too bad Tie Domi didn't end his career with that elbow.

We don't deserve to win this series. The fact that it's even going seven games against a team with only 1 line and a team that looked finished after the last game, shows you how pathetic the Wings have been in this series. This team has been weird all season by not coming out for certain games, and it caught up with them tonight. No killer instinct at all. I just hope we score first and second in game 7, or else the JLA will be quieter than a funeral home if the Ducks take the lead.

Our euro ******* got it handled to them late in the game and they deserved it considering how hard they played. Pathetic effort.

Wouldn't it be great if Datsyuk scores a clutch goal here?

I hate drama. I hope we didn't just score that goal in order to break the hearts of fans some more. We need to tie it up and then eliminate them in OT.
