If he's hurt, then blame Babcock, because with Conklin in net you'd have to think we'd have a better chance to have this game won already with 5 goals. With an injured Osgood, it's tied 5-5, and Conklin will likely have to play anyway. Also, Ozzie may have aggravated his injury by playing. Either way, blame Babcock.

The commentator just said the game is tied. This is the worst annoucing I've ever heard. BTW, Ozzie is starting to scare me again. No reason this game shouldn't be over with us having 5 goals.

You're kidding right? That stream was horrible the last game. It only worked maybe half the time, and even then the quality made it hard to tell who was who on the ice.

I'm mixed on this right now. For one thing, Vancouver seems like a much tougher place to play. Hiller seems like he can be rattled much easier than Luongo can, since Luongo is maybe the best goalie in the world, while Hiller is just an upstart. I also think Vancouver has a faster team than Anaheim, which could pose some problems. With Anaheim you have to shut down their top line to beat their team. Their other lines don't impress me with any kind of speed or skill. The upside to playing Anaheim is that they'll be presumably coming off a tough series against San Jose (if they are to advance), while Vancouver is a rested team thanks to the Blues pitiful playoff display. Also, I'd love to see the Wings get revenge on their team. And finally, Lilja will hopefully be back by then, and well they have this guy named Parros..... but I'll hold off on posting more until later. Is being one of those not allowed here on LGW?

When you're up 3-0, the question is "when", and not "if" you're going to advance. The OP did the right thing in starting this thread. At this point there's nothing wrong with looking ahead to who we're eventually going to face. If we don't win the series, LGW will be the busiest it's ever been in its history for the next couple of months, thus we'll have other threads to worry about way worse than this. Anyway, people need to get off the OP's case.

If Lilja was in the lineup, Commodore would be laying in a pool of his own blood right now. We need to goon it up in the 3rd when it looks like the game is out of reach. I'm tired of this team acting real tough.

Last year we were also up 2-0 in game 3, so this isn't over yet. The next goal is huge here, and could decide how this entire series will progress.

The online feeds are awful right now with so many people trying to view at the same time. I blame this all on Bettman and Crosby. Damn you all. Damn you all to hell.

I would keep checking it around game time cause there's usually a thread or two about that. I think atdhe.net may be showing it, but the online streams that are free don't have that good a quality anymore. Anyway, I'm hardly the expert on online streams, so I'll be checking LGW also around game time to see what's available.

If the Pens were playing against any team in the NHL they'd still be getting the same amount of love. The Wings got the love last year because they're a more popular team around sport circles than the Pens. Wings fans have a perfect right to complain that the team we beat in the Finals is getting more attention than the Wings, even more so with these misleading commercials. I think the league should just create a new channel, where they can only show Pens games. Then everyone would get what they want.

But in the regular season they play 4 on 4 overtimes, which are in no way indicative of how it goes in the playoffs. The players don't play those two scenarios the exact same way. In the regular season the play is more wide open in overtimes and there's a lot less to lose. I still think it's a bad analogy.

Everyone. There's about 2 or 3 threads going on this now, as well as there should be. I'd love to see Philly come back and win the series, just to save hockey fans all around the NHL from having to see anymore of Sidney. Go Flyers.

They're not more marketable. They're just the team the league is marketing more. The Wings have a way bigger fanbase outside of Detroit than the Pens do. Nobody follows the Pens from city to city filling up arenas the way the Wings can. The NHL is in denial by trying to vault this team over the Wings in popularity. So just because the league is anally trying to serve Crosby to us, doesn't mean that his team has somehow become more marketable than the Wings.

That's the way the NHL treats it. It's not my fault the point system is counted out that way. I'm just looking at the facts. I do actually think that OT losses should not count as points, but as long as the rule is how it is, the Sharks had a record way above .500.

As far as I know, they're not showing a damn thing. Kind of sad how a channel that calls itself the NHL network has only shown one playoff game. In the regular season they were showing at least 3 games a week. I guess Versus takes over the exclusive coverage, however, those idiots are only content with showing the Pens series, so it doesn't really help the Wings or anyone else to be playing at the same time as them. God forbid your team playing at the same time as Cindy Crosby. You'll basically have to watch the online stream if all else fails, which is what I'll be doing also.

It doesn't matter. We had some OT and shootout wins also on the road, as well as shootout losses, as did just about every team. It's just a misleading way to portray stats. Bottom line is that they had a road record way above .500. That's just the way the NHL point system is currently counted. If you want to complain about the system then you're more than welcome to. But if you look at it that way, everybody's record is somehow inflated.
