As far as I know, the team is not in need of a new towel boy. Kopecky has fit that role perfectly.

Cole is an underachiever who's always hurt and Roloson may be even older than Ozzie. It would definitely shake things up, but at this point I wouldn't make such a trade for 2 guys that would likely be gone in the offseason.

Hossa is going to be booed mercilessly each time he handles the puck today. I hope he scores about 4 goals on them.

Look out, because the New Jersey Devils have been incredibly hot lately. I think they've won something like 9 out of the last 10 games. This team is full of players who have won the Cup multiple times, they've got 3 lines that can score, and they have Brodeur coming back from injury. I know the Bruins have been great this year, but that franchise hasn't gotten out of the 1st round in nearly 10 years. At this point I'd favor the Devils in a playoff series against them.

Somehow, I doubt Commodore is coming here. For many reasons. All in all, we have too much depth for me to envision Holland signing a defenseman, despite the fact that the defense has been inconsistent all year.

That's why I started this thread. I was hoping it would put a stop to the Devils success. Maybe I need to do the same kind of thread about Boston now.

He's this generation's Paul Coffey. Great offensive defenseman. Sucks balls in his own zone.

The Caps are playing great, but they don't have the defense or goaltending needed to win the Cup. Also, Tim Thomas reminds me too much of Marty Turco with his wild style of goaltending. As Turco has shown in the playoffs, that kind of style can be conducive in a long series. But, I guess the Bruins are the team everyone is jumping on right now because of their surprising resurgence. We shall see what we shall see.

I hope they have some more goals left in the tank for the Pens game. You know it's a special night when Sammy scores on a breakaway. Good to see Leino contributing while he's in the lineup. Too bad Kopecky is still favored over him.

Get it done Kenny. Avery will fill up the JLA real fast. He's also be a good addition for the playoffs when we play the Dallas Stars. He'd play inspired hockey against them and I'd love to see him screening Turco the same way he did Brodeur.

Holland has officially lost his mind. Kopecky should be working as a doorman at the Olympia Club. He's just a useless 6'3 broomstick that doesn't do anything valuable out there whatsoever. He's the most expendable player on the team right now.

Nah, that's how baseball players (*******) fight whenever there's a brawl in their games. It's much more appealing seeing women doing that kind of style than men.

How does he feel about huggers and wrestlers? The league should make rules which make it harder for guys like Laraque to employ boring fight strategies.

I've never forgiven him for what happened in 2006. I'm glad this happened, and I hope he winds up in the Siberian League, or some s*** like that. You're not gonna see me feeling sorry for Manny.

Legace still hasn't kept his word about hanging himself after that loss in 2006. People just need to realize that he's not a very good goalie, especially in the clutch. His record just looked good in Detroit because of the talent in front of him. He's lucky he's never had to play behind the current Wings defense, or he'd feel like killing himself after every game.

A true enforcer is used to getting suspended. No big deal. I'm proud of Andreas for driving that puss Backes into the boards like that. Too bad he wasn't wheeled away on a stretcher, but there's always next game.

Is it just me or does Hudler always do the same move on breakaways and shootouts? You'd think that goalies would scout him better by now.

We absolutely didn't deserve to win this game, as this was a pathetic, uninspired effort coming during a 5 game losing streak. Nonetheless, Ozzie basically won the game for the team. Also, even though it was a B.S. call, it was great seeing Lilja rack up some PIM's. That'll look great in the stat sheet. Anyone know what he wound up getting total?
