Most sports interviews are boring, period. Watching the press conferences of about 95% of NFL coaches is like listening to a broken record. Always the same crap. That's why Sean Avery is the type of guy who's good for sports, because he opens the door for controversial topics and conversations on sports talk shows. Every sport has a guy like Sean Avery. Except for hockey that is, since he's currently not playing.

I hate it how people have to bring back posts from a million years ago just because some guy in some post stated something which later turned out to be false. Couldn't this thread just as easily have been brought back after the '07 playoffs?

Definitely overrated. It's been forever since they made it to the Conference Finals, yet everyone keeps praising them like this group has won multiple Cups or something like that. Last year they were physically manhandled by Philly, and they weren't tough enough to respond physically or mentally. Also, Price was horrendous in that series. Along with Boston, they're gonna have to prove something in the playoffs before I exalt them in my mind.

With the way Boston is playing, no way would Lidstrom win the Norris trophy if it was given out today. Hopefully he'll surpass the competition as the season goes on, but right now I don't see him being 1st.

Without a doubt the Ducks current logo is the worst, simply because they have no logo. At least the teams on that website get a passing grade for trying. The Ducks didn't even try to make a logo with these most recent jerseys. That was a great website, BTW.

In my EA game, I was able to trade him for Sammy, Hudler and a 1st. So come on Holland you idiot, get the trade done already.

The biggest thing a 4th line has to do is hit people, and right now our 4th line couldn't hit up a bong. Put Lilja on the 4th line, where enforcers belong, and that way Chelios will be a regular in the lineup and can rotate with Lebda and Ericsson on defense.

That was the worst defensive game I've ever seen the Wings play. 50 shots on goal, with a bunch of idiots standing around watching the puck. All the players were spectators tonight. So much for the defense getting better. Also, Cleary needs to be taken off the 2nd line. The 3rd line looked useless tonight, and Cleary is just a spectator on the 2nd line anyway. -

If Steve Ott continues his antics tonight, then Lilja should jump Mike Modano by force and beat his head on the ice into a bloody pulp right in front of a terrified Willa Ford. Yeah, I know I have major problems. -
McGrattan or Doan. Interesting and unusual thread, though. I haven't heard anything about them contracting anytime soon.

I would only hope that Florida would think the same thing. No way in hell they'd trade him for a 40 year old winger who can't score, a fast but useless d-man who knows how to party, and a guy I never heard of. Unless this Brendan Smith is the next Ovechkin, Florida would laugh at such a proposal.
