This little Frk just can't seem to stay on any roster.

How is that even possible? I've never done that as GM on any video game.

On paper, we probably have the worst first and fourth line in the NHL. I'd say the second and third lines are near the bottom of the league. The defense has to be the worst in the league as far as the first and second pairing goes. Hard to believe this team has won 6 games this season. I don't know what all this Corsica s*** is (that's where Napoleon is from), but I'm not surprised the 4th line is last in the league in efficiency.

I have no opinion on this. I guess I don't mind them sharing playing time like it's been so far. Neither has stood out and both have been fairly solid. This defense, however, needs a Hasek or a Tretiak behind it.

That was a hard game to watch. Players couldn't string two passes together. Boston dominated the whole game.

He's already sitting. Marchenko and Smith are the most logical choices. You can't sit Ericsson, because he's our only enforcer. DeKeyser has immunity (even though he doesn't deserve it) and Green is the only defenseman on this team who can score a goal, besides Sproul. Speaking of Sproul, he should not sit. He's looked solid and needs to play to help his development. I don't see Marchenko doing anything better than him.

What's the over/under on Zetterberg scoring 10 goals this year?

My guess is that Marchenko will sit for Kronwall.

That was big. We need these cheap shootout points if we're going to sneak into the playoffs again like the last few years.

How come the Blues have so many good young players? I don't remember them tanking like some other teams to get good picks. Their defense looks like a team of All Stars compared to our defense.

This team is way too soft on the puck in this game. That goal came off a faceoff that could have been avoided if that baby Sheahan could have moved the puck out of the zone. Same thing has happened in several similar situations. Wings look like they're playing against the '89 Flames here.

I noticed that too. Haven't we won a few division titles and President trophies since I joined in 2007? I want more stinking badges! Oh and I don't want them to share with the Pistons because I'm selfish and like the idea of the Wings having their own arena (like they do now).

Nobody. Just the Wings when they're televised nationally or when I can bother with online streams. I haven't religiously followed hockey since 2004 or so (I guess the lockout did it for me).

I must have had better seats than the FSD guys. Along with Larkin, he was one of the weaker forwards yesterday.

He plays like he's allergic to body checks. He's obviously not scoring, so he needs to be effective in some fashion. It's early in the season, but he's one of the players that needs to pick it up.

Went to my first game last night. Best game of the season by the defense. San Jose looked tired and never really established themselves. The Wings defense was great at moving the puck and the forwards provided solid puck support. I was worried we'd get pinned in our zone a lot but it didn't happen. Helm played a great game. Won a lot of physical battles So did Sproul. This guy should stay in the lineup for a long time. He's confident and has good IQ out there. Sheahan looks even softer in person than he does on TV. Still not sure what this guy brings to the lineup. He's big, but doesn't do much of anything. If Abdelkader misses games, this guy needs to step up. Figures the game I go to is the one where we don't fight.

I figured it out. Holland has instructed this team to fight more, in order to keep some heat away from him. Fans have been at his throat all offseason.
