You guys are just jealous that I noticed his greatness first, before a few other posters decided to jump on his bandwagon as his winning streak started mounting.
-
I just call the fights the way I see them, buddy.
-
You forgot to add that he's not Canadian.
-
I wish you would have phrased that part differently but you may be right with the concept.

This is probably eva's favorite thread ever. He must be Hudler's secret pen-pal. You'd never see me inflating some player's ability beyond what it actually is.
-
He plays best when he's on the PP, because he has more room and isn't pushed around as much by defenders. However, when he's not on the PP, there's not as much room, he's easy to knock off the puck and gets dominated a lot physically along the boards. Therefore, he's not underrated, because in certain situations he's just not a useful player. The fact that he can score on our PP unit was never something I doubted about him.

If Florida had a top notch enforcer, then I'd say throw him in to seal the deal, but since they don't, I can't agree with this trade proposal.

Does anyone know when the last time was that Boston made it out of the 1st round of the playoffs? It seems like it's been around a decade or so. Anyway, the fact that sports fans in Boston are idiots (albeit devoted idiots) is not a new revelation.

I like Shanny, but I still think it's bull***t for players to be joining teams in the middle of a season. He doesn't get any benefit of the doubt in my book.
-
Both of whom are overpaid. I am a little confused with Shanny, because even though he's past his prime, he could still add scoring depth and experience to any team. I guess he must have limited his choices to only a few teams, which would explain why he hasn't been signed yet.

Ron Duguay had a great mullet and was quite a celebrity. Him and Jagr are the first people who come to mind.
-
Tina is probably the most heckled fighter amongst fight fans right now because of his grappling style and the fact that he always loses. That's a tough injury, but once again he was trying to wrestle even in that fight.

That blonde posing with you is hot! That just proves how being a mascot can get you chicks.

Grabovski suspended three games for abuse of an official
GMRwings1983 replied to 12Newf's topic in General
He should have bitten the referee instead. Then he would have only been suspended 2 games. -
This might sound like a pointless question in retrospect, but I was wondering what would have happened if Sean Avery had been voted in as a starter in the ASG? Could he have played even though he's currently suspended by Dallas? My initial reaction is no, but I wasn't sure. If so, then he should have been voted in. If the Canadiens' fans can make the league look stupid by voting in Montreal's undeserving players, then I would have loved to see the league look even worse by Avery making it in.

Stevens did lead his team to 3 Cups. Chelli was a big part of several Cup teams, but that's different than being the number one leader. Also, Stevens put up quite a few points in his career, so he's not just some defensive defenseman. I think it's closer than what you say, especially when you consider Stevens' physicality and the fact that he could change games with his hits.
-
I think he could have improved the ASG's pathetic ratings in recent memory.
-
Tell that to Montreal fans. Talent apparently has nothing to do with it. However, it is a moot point since he wasn't voted in. I was just thinking hypothetically.
-
Based on what rule? How could they not have let him play even though he's not officially suspended by the league? Or am I misinterpreting the rules?
-
Ruutu has had enough cheap incidents in his career for which he should have been suspended. I don't think that players hate him just because of his annoying face. I'm sure they have a reason from the way he plays.
-
It was more of a question than an attempt to start a 40 page thread, but if that's how you interpret it, I won't argue with you. Anyway, thanks for answering my question.

Souray already got a lesson from Lilja, when Andreas took his manhood from him. I guess Souray learned a lot from that fight.
-
Imagine what Lilja could do to Ohlund if that's what Souray (who's Lilja's *****) did to him. The league would probably have its first on-ice death.
-
Lang played like a god tonight with that hat-trick in the 3rd period. That move reminded me of Yzerman in his prime.

I always thought that Ruutu's bark was bigger than his bite, but I guess I was wrong.
