Does anyone know where Marc Lamothe is currently playing? Seriously, though, I agree somewhat with this poster, because last year we at least had one goalie that was playing well, and that was the goalie that took us to the Cup. This year we don't have that luxury because both goalies have sucked. The top goalies around the league will bail their team out no matter how bad the defense is playing. This year the Wings goalies haven't done much to bail the defense out when they make mistakes. We've had to outscore all our opponents.

I hope this isn't the best you can do when it comes to comedy. Bottom line is that you've made a ridiculous stance on this issue, and no one is going to agree with you. The league doesn't need Cuthbert in any way, and you should just admit it. We need to put the big 3 together right now on the same line. Down by 2 goals we have nothing to lose, and Pavel and Hank are both getting outscored by Hudler of all people. That has to change, or else Hank will finish with something like 30 goals this season. That's way too low for him.

Conklin has been a disappointment this year. Last year he came in for Fleury and was awesome for the Pens. That was why Holland signed him, and it obviously hasn't carried over into this season. If he was a bit taller, then that move would have made sense. He had no business going down so early.

God we suck this year defensively. We've already given up 3 goals, are 0 for 2 on the PK, and the goalie can't stop a damn thing. This has got to be fixed ASAP, because it's become embarassing to watch the goals get racked up against us like that.

That was before he started dating celebrities, and besides, we had a more veteran presence and a stronger minded team than these Dallas Stars who are looking to blame anyone for their troubles.

In my opinion, strong veteran teams can handle distractions like Avery, and that's something you often see in sports with the top teams that are used to winning. The Bulls had the same thing with Rodman, the Lakers had it with Kobe's trial, and the Giants have had it all year with Burress. Those teams were strong enough as a group to put those problems aside and still win. The Stars are acting like Avery is the sole reason for their disastrous season. If he has that kind of power over them, then they're a weak minded and overrated group of idiots who aren't good enough to overcome any adversity whatsoever.

I applaud whoever it was that said that Dallas is throwing Avery under the bus. Turco needs to shut his mouth and stop making excuses for his s***ty play this season. It's not Avery's fault that he can't stop a beach ball this season. Likewise, Madonna should stop blaming Avery, because it's not Avery's fault that Madonna has aged and is now past his prime. Their whole team are acting like a bunch of whiny ******* looking for excuses for why they suck. If they were such a tightly knit, veteran team, they would never let a guy like Avery destroy their team spirit singlehandedly. F**k the Stars and their excuses.

Ozzie has been pretty bad this season, thus people have a right to criticize him all they want. Let's not forget that everyone on this roster won the Cup last year, just like he did. Does that mean that all these players should be immune from criticism? I don't think so. If this goaltending keeps up, this team will never be able to repeat as champs. Either he's got to improve now and fast, or something else has to be done, and many here happen to realize that. For the life of me, I can't understand threads like these, which seem to go against the whole purpose of having an internet discussion thread.

If this question was asked on a divealanche forum, I doubt any more than a handful of people would say "yes". However, it's a little different here on LGW. I know that we own their team, but why should we hate them any less if they still hate the Wings as much as ever?
