Has Ozzie been practicing with beach balls this offseason? He has looked awful this year, and I'm tired of all the excuses everyone is making for him. This far into the season, the stats don't lie. His stats were bad going into this game, and today didn't help. Maybe he needs Hasek back just to put some pressure on his ass. Ozzie is too comfy being the starter right now.

This is the most disappointing regular season loss in years. An absolutely, pitiful effort by some of the best players on this team.

Just wondering what happened to this guy? I know he had some injuries several years back, but I didn't know if he decided to retire, if he's still on the road to recovery, or whether he's recovered and is playing overseas somewhere? Anyway, I always thought he was a good 3rd line player who was great on draws, a good defensive forward, and a guy who played well in the clutch. Last I remember, he was on Atlanta's roster.

That being said, I still prefer enforcers like Dave Brown or Bob Probert, who showed no mercy to anyone. People were afraid of messing with someone on the team when they knew that a guy like that could pounce upon them at any minute with no mercy.

Lilja needs to fight in place of McCarty. He would have dropped that fool Clarkson in like 8 seconds, instead of that boring hugfest you saw last night.

Lilja of course. That man could probably outdrink the entire bar and still have room for more. Not to mention that I might have the opportunity to see him get into a bar fight in person.

Enforcer? Downie is just some visor-wearing reject who fights from time to time, and usually loses. He's no enforcer.

Kind of a stupid list since Lindbergh and Kordic lost their lives, while Probert and Fleury went on to have pretty good careers. There shouldn't be any comparison between these athletes just because they all did something wrong. Also, Lindbergh wasn't some chronic alcoholic from what I've heard, making it even harder to compare him to someone like Fleury who was always in trouble.

Well, that would be everyone except for me. Although I guess lately a few others have been jumping on the bandwagon known as the "PAIN TRAIN". Seriously, I'm foaming at the mouth at anticipation of the next Lilja fight. I wonder who will be the next victim of his meteoric rise?

Nobody is saying Downey would turn the team around and you know it. The reason people want him in the lineup is because he's a better fighter than McCarty at this point. He's also a better fighter than any of those guys in GR who you mentioned. But then again, you might be one of those posters who doesn't think that part of the game is important, which is why you made that ridiculous post in the first place.
