Glad to see "the powerplay is our enforcer" isn't the motto anymore. Babcock, his predecessors and Kenny didn't seem to mind if people took liberties with our players. Come to think of it, Blashill didn't mind last year either. We didn't even have 10 fighting majors. What changed with Blashill in the offseason?

Poor Nielsen. He's probably wishing he was back in Brooklyn. Those linemates aren't the most talented players he's ever seen. Do the Rangers really have a player named Clendening? It would be a crime if he and Glendenning don't get into a fight tonight. I remember Ericsson always playing on the right side. I guess now that's he's a goon like Eric Cairns or Enrico Ciccone, it doesn't really matter what side he plays on. We may even want to experiment with him as 4th line winger (traditional enforcer spot).

I'll be honest. If this Trouba person walked in here right now, I wouldn't know who he was. Never seen him play. We definitely need help on defense, though. It's hard to know how good our forwards are when the defensemen can't make tape to tape passes from the defensive zone and are totally useless from the point in the offensive zone. The 2002 Wings would struggle to play in front of this defense.

I have a good excuse. Our players partied in Florida all weekend, which includes strip clubs and parties on the beach. I mean, who cares about hockey anyways?

If Mike Green didn't exist, he would have to be invented. Guy was always a pylon on defense, but he used to score in his heyday. Now, he's just a pylon.

Lapointe was a very clutch playoff performer and was a lot better looking than Abdelkader. There's no comparison between the two players.
