When was the last time a team won the Cup on a night where they came back from 2-0 down? I can't remember anything remotely close.

If they score the next goal, it's time to start thinking about game 7, because we're not coming back from 3-0 down.

This looks just like game 5 against Dallas.

Downey did more for us this year, than Slegr did in 2002. I don't believe Slegr even played a game for us other than that final game. They should have petitioned not to have Slegr's name on the Cup, even though I know that isn't allowed. That explains why Manny Legace has his name on the Cup. Can the team go back now and ask the league to remove his name?

Anyone who can fight on that team should be scared with this guy being their coach.

I think they'll be back in the Finals again next year, because many of those players are expendable.

Lidstrom doesn't whine and complain to the refs constantly. Overrated here on LGW, is Kopecky. This guy has done nothing but skate in circles, and show no kind of scoring touch, yet many people here claim that he's somehow progressing as a player. I failed to see that this season. Underrated on LGW, is Chelios. I don't think he's looked as bad as people claim, and I don't think he's playing that much worse than he had the last few years, when everyone here was saying that he could play until 50.

Do you mean underrated/overrated on LGW, or around the NHL, because that's two completely different things?

Yeah, Crosby doesn't score as many goals as Hank, mostly because he doesn't shoot as often. To me Lecavalier and Malkin are the guys I'd put up there with Zetterberg as far as being not only great passers, but also guys who could potentially lead the league in goals in any given year. This reminds me of just how amazing Wayne Gretzky was, because he was a pass first guy, yet he's still the al time goal scoring leader, and a guy who scored 92 goals in a season. Yet for some reason, I still think of him as a guy who passed first and shot second.

Do you guys think Hudler will be strong enough to lift the Cup by himself?

I've had time to think about this, and I still say Chelios is the guy.

With Franzen's play in the 2nd half of the season, I don't see us going after any big time free agent forwards in the summer. Franzen and Hank are going to want more money, thus there will be no Sundin or Hossa signings. Therefore, I think Helm will have a spot on next year's roster. Hopefully Downey will too, or someone who's a better, younger enforcer.

He's been streaky all year, but I'm glad that he's having one of his good streaks here in the playoffs.

Isn't this the last ever game at the Mellon Arena? If so, it serves them right, because their fans are a bunch of whining pansies, who are barely one step above Predators fans when it comes to hockey IQ.

As far as marketing goes, the league has no clue what it's doing, and is worse than any other sport at marketing. Other than Crosby, most regular joes couldn't name you one player in the entire league, except for Wayne Gretzky.
