Datsyuk got hurt last year before the season too. What is it with our offseason program? Either that or Zetterberg just doesn't want to play and needed an excuse. Even The Undertaker is in better shape than him.

Did you have the same experience I had with Stubhub, where tickets won't be available until the day before the game? Apparently, that's their policy, but I've never used Stubhub before.

I'm kicking myself for going now instead of going when my favorites played (like Yzerman, Fedorov, Lidstrom, etc). I shouldn't have sat on my ass. Still, I'm excited to actually go to the arena. It's like Mecca for me. Every Wings fan must make this journey at least once in a lifetime.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm glad to be going with my Dad, but if I went alone, I could have gotten a really good seat in the lower section. People from out of town who only go to one game in a lifetime (like myself) don't care about how much it will cost. If I lived in Detroit and was a regular, I wouldn't be thrilled about paying that much for two tickets in the upper section.

I bought them online and early. Just over $200. StubHub doesn't deliver tickets until the day before the game, which makes me nervous, as I'm travelling on that day.

I got my ass kicked buying tickets for my Dad and myself for the Sharks game. But if you're coming from you out of town, it's hard to buy tickets the day before a game. Pretty sure I overpaid for what we got.

He was their coach. Their GM was Alexei Zhamnov of all people. Svitov is actually a pretty good fighter. He's decimated some decent fighters the last few seasons. -
