If Lilja doesn't come back next year, this could be his last chance for a Cup. He'll play like a beast, and will be eager to atone for last year's mulligan. I see him scoring the Cup winning goal in OT on a wrap-around. -
I think they stopped doing this because Bettman was too lazy to have to learn the names of all the players.

Hopefully better than Cleary and Homer when they came back from injury. I think he'll be fine if he returns, but I'm still speculative on whether he'll be back at all.

What did Kopecky do this season that would have made him a force in the playoffs? His only accomplishment this year was beating up Patrick Sharp. As far as I'm concerned, Helm has already done more in the playoffs than what Kopecky did the entire regular season. All he did was skate in circles and get knocked on his ass by bodychecks.

Hopefully Stuart won't be disillusioned anymore about his physicality, because each time he steps up to hit someone, a 2 on 1 results going the other way. The Pens will score on those. -
We're going to find out just how great our forwards are defensively in this series, because they must backcheck since we know Pittburgh plays a wide open game. I like the OP's original lines, but if that 2nd line continues to suck, then no line combos will help us. Line combos only look good when the players on the ice produce. No coach can create magic with players who just aren't cutting it out there.

Do I feel some Boston homerism in the air? Pronger is a better passer and puck mover than Chara, and also Pronger doesn't turn the puck over as much. The only thing that Chara does better is fight, but that's still not enough to put him above in my book. Also, consistency is important, and this was Chara's best year in the league, while Pronger has been solid for a long time.

Even though I despise him, I'd probably have Pronger in my top 10, because he's still the 2nd best defenseman in the league, and can do anything out there in all areas of the game. But I wasn't surprised that most people didn't have him on their lists.

I hope the injury is bad, because I'd hate to think that we're stuck with a guy that plays this bad when he's healthy in such huge games. I'd like to think that he's better than this.

Why don't they hire Pierre Lacroix's little pudgy-faced son that was always on their bench trying to look important? This franchise is a joke and I hope it continues that way.

Hopefully the league has instructed O'Halloran to atone for his horrible calls against us, by making a few cheap calls that go in our favor during critical moments. He owes us that much.

They're just jerking us around. I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't come back at all. They're just trying to keep the other team guessing.

Just watch that breakaway of his the last game. That should answer all your questions. The guy didn't even hit the net. Also, Cleary has sucked since his jaw was broken, and it was broken by Sammy's shot. Another reason is that he's a right handed shot, and we don't have many forwards who shoot right handed, thus more is expected from him than if he was left handed, in which case he probably wouldn't get as much criticism.
