The Pens are the most talented team I've seen since the Wings in 2002. In my mind they could beat any of the Cup winners since then. So yes, they are a team that has the makings of a Cup winner.

That hasn't happened in a long time. In fact many Finals have gone to game 7 in recent memory, and the home team won each game. Obviously this Burnside character doesn't know as much about history as he should.

All I know is that our 2nd line scored 0 goals in that last series. That's not going to cut it against Pittsburgh.

What are your guys' thoughts on Zubov? I've never thought he was that great, and he proved me right in this series. It looked like he was in a coma the entire series, and is too passive out there by being afraid to shoot. Maybe it's just the fact that he always struggles against us, but I've never been too impressed with this guy. Any thoughts?

Well, if he's not overrated, he's never scared me much compared to other top defensemen like Pronger, Nidermayer, or MacInnis when he was still playing. Zubov is just too passive on the point, and isn't very good in his own zone. He's a great passer and playmaker, but not the complete package.

I'm not just basing it on what happened in this series, I've always felt this way about him and I know I'm not the only one. He just solidified my beliefs in this series, that's all. Besides, he seemed to play a lot of minutes, so I don't see why injuries should be used as an excuse.
