This longer this series goes, the less are our chances of winning the Cup, because I expect the Pens to finish the Flyers off today. I hope I'm wrong on this. That's another reason why we need to win game 6, basically to get more rest for the Finals.

Huh? The last time we lost a game where we had a chance to eliminate someone was in 1998 against Dallas. That was 10 whole years ago. Since then, this team has had an easy time closing out opponents when we get to 3 wins. That's why these last 2 games have been so unprecedented.

I think Cleary is having trouble seeing the puck with his new helmet. He just seems confused out there, and I'm beginning to wonder if he's playing with a concussion or not. He looks bewildered out there. Flip has to step it up, especially physically, since he's playing like a cream puff with how easy it is to knock him off the puck. Sammy needs to step up, but the only way he could do that is to refrain from shooting. That one is on Babcock, who must put Sammy on the 4th line to give him less chances to shoot. Chelios needs to be better out there. He hasn't had a good playoff and his positioning hasn't been very good, which is supposed to be his only asset. Osgood has to outplay Turco. Yesterday he didn't, and gave up a bad goal on the 2nd goal which he misread. Stuart needs to do something offensively. Chelios has been better offensively than Stuart has. I'm beginning to wonder if we improved at all by trading for him at the deadline.

I don't think I could handle the humiliation of knowing that my team blew a 3-0 lead. I hope the players use that fact as a motivation to not want to be a part of history.

Other than Homer and Franzen we don't have anyone who gets to the front of the net, and Franzen is currently hurt. At first that injury didn't seem like it would affect this series, but now it certainly has. The other guys are playing like they did in the Edmonton series in 06, when we were afraid to crash the crease.

You've already achieved your goal, which is getting past the first round of the playoffs. Now you'll no longer be labeled as playoff chokers.

That's how I felt about game 5 and look what happened.

When has Lilja ever cost us a series? I dare anyone here to show me one piece of video evidence as proof that Lilja has ever cost us a big playoff game.

Many teams have come back down from 2-0 down to win a series. However, there's a big difference when it's 3-0 down. This would be the worst thing that has ever happened to the Wings as far as playoff disappointments goes. Worse than being swept by the Ducks, worse than being swept in the 95 finals or losing to Colorado in 96 after that record breaking regular season. And even worse than that 1st round loss to Edmonton a few years ago after another great regular season. This would be far worse than any of those disappointments.

Are you serious? It's been 10 years since the Wings lost a game when they had a chance to eliminate someone, with 13 straight victories during that streak. Now they've already lost 2 straight after being dominant for so long in closing out a series. It's definitely something to be surprised over. This team is playing with no confidence right now, and if we don't score first in game 6, expect this to come back for a game 7.

A year ago at this time everyone was saying that he could play till he's 50, when he was having a great playoff run. Since then his age is finally showing and he doesn't seem to have the same passion out there anymore. Once he stops being good in his own zone, everything is finished, because he doesn't bring anything else out there to the team.

One of the worst things about the playoffs has been dealing with foolish fans like you. First those Nashville trolls, then those divealanche trolls, and now the Stars trolls. God I hope Pens fans aren't this annoying.

At least one positive happened in this game. We didn't get pre-empted by horse racing after all.

No, we outplayed them earlier in the series, but are currently not outplaying them. What happened earlier in the series can easily be washed away by what's happening now. At this point, we're getting it handed to us from a passion level. Shots on goal dont' matter if most of those are meaningless.

We had a better team than just about every team we've lost to in the playoffs in the last 6 or 7 years. The more talented team doesn't always win. It's the hungriest team that wins. As far as hunger goes, the Wings look anorexic right now.

Good thing we didn't trade Flip for Hossa. Flip is our future, while Hossa is a playoff choker.
