The Stars aren't in Pittbsurgh's league. And I'm not just saying that based on what's happening in this series. Their PP is playing better than I've seen any team do since Pittsburgh in the early 90's.

This is several straight games now with a slow start. When we play Pittsburgh we need faster starts, and can't take these stupid penalties, because their PP will kill us.

I was just wondering why Zetterberg kisses his glove each time anyone on the team scores a goal when he's on the ice? I think I've seen Franzen do it also. Is it something between the Swedish players on the team, or is it just some superstition that they have? Anyway, I don't know if this has been talked about here before, but I was just curious. Hopefully someone knows what it means.

Get rid of Datsyuk, Zetterberg, and Lidstrom. That would clear up a huge amount of cap space to pursue great free agents sometime in the future during our era of rebuilding.

Like I already said, what we post can't change the outcome of the game. Also, I predicted a sweep before this series began, so I'm not just now writing this because we're up 3-0. Also, people already hate our fanbase, and Dallas fans have stoppped posting here all of sudden to notice.

Hasek is more hated than Ozzie because he's not North American, he hasn't spent as many years total with the Wings as Ozzie has, and he's said and done a lot more controversial things in his career than Ozzie has. Also, the way that he left the Wings in 2004 is something that people are still sore about, while Ozzie did not leave on the same terms in 2002. There's a lot of people around the league that don't like Hasek for whatever reasons. I don't think anyone feels that way about Ozzie (except for Mike Ribeiro ).

I don't think what any of us post can affect the outcome of the games, unless Lidstrom is cruising through LGW, and he decides to heed by my advice and take it easy tomorrow. The post doesn't tempt fate in any way. I guess I do feel pretty arrogant, though, the way the team is playing right now. I can't help it, it's so fun to watch. I just want this series to be over instead of having to look at the Stars' faces for one more game. I'm not, however, saying that we've already won the Cup, since I think the Penguins will be a tough matchup for us. I remember in 1995 the Wings coasted through the playoffs, and got embarrased in the Finals, thus ruining that entire season. I wouldn't want to see that again.

How can we not be cocky? We've won 9 straight games, and I can never remember seeing that kind of playoff domination from the Wings. It's supposed to be difficult to progress through each series, and this series along with the last one have been runaway jokes.
