1 goal leads? This team has blown a couple of 2 goal leads the last few games. They're starting to remind me of the Sharks with how inept they are at keeping leads. The funny thing is that the annoucers on Versus were ranting the whole 3rd period about how suffocating our defense is. Amazing how soft goaltending can make the defense look silly, since they played pretty well in the 3rd.

But that's the thing. Anaheim never had a chance in that game. I'd rather lose the way Anaheim did in that game 3 then lose this way tonight. Hasek couldn't steal candy from a baby right now. I have as much condfidence in him as I'd have in my chances of marrying Jessica Alba. We're leading this series, but it feels like all the life has been sapped out of this team during the last part of that game. They looked like a boxer after he's glassy eyed.

The new line combos are not working. We need to put the lines the way they were before in games 1 and 2. Flip looks scared to shoot, and Cleary has been nonexistent. Our 2 best forwards this game were Hudler and Sammy. What's the world coming to?

That's just where you're wrong, and that's why everyone is frustrated we lost. Nashville didn't do anything better than us. They just had a couple of scoring spurts, coupled with brain farts and Legace-like goaltending in the clutch. The Wings outplayed Trashville and still lost, and the last 4 minutes of the game, we didn't even come close to generating any scoring chances. This team looked shellshocked out there the last part of the game.

This team has some serious attitude and confidence problems. 3 times in the last 2 games they've come out flat right after the other team scores. And Hasek looks like a goaie from the 70's and 80's out there giving up goals from 60 feet out on slapshots.

That we still have teh lead in the series so everything is fine. We should be up 3-0, which basically means sweep.
