Undoubtedly, we'll trade for the softest players on that list.

What do you think the problem is for our current slump?

I can't believe no one has blamed Gary Bettman yet for this losing streak. -
The bottom line is that we have no legit 2nd line scoring threat. Hudler, Flip, and Franzen aren't 2nd liners, and aren't consistent enough scorers. Hell, Sammy might be the most consistent of them all, just because he shoots a lot. We need to sure up our 2nd line, because the other top teams out there can get scoring from other lines better than the Wings can.

McGratton and Erskine. I want more goons and more blood, dammit!
-
Well, then he's definitely not going to play for the Wings anytime soon. It's almost like they keep Meech around just to see how much smaller and softer this defense can get, as if Lebda isn't small and soft enough.

Finally, someone besides me understands what is really ailing this team. "PAIN TRAIN" needs to drop the gloves a few more times before the playoffs begin, to rouse the rest of the boys up. -
What could Lilja possibly do in the playoffs that might cost us a game? I can't think of anything.
-
No kidding! I forgot what we were even arguing about on this post after seeing that avatar.
-
Are they dating or something? That might sway my whole opinion on us getting Stoll.
-
Well, Babcock said that Sammy is "elite", so it must be true. Besides, Edmonton would obtain an athlete who's used to winning and playing with great players. Alright, I can't go on like this anymore with a straight face. I'm gonna stop writing now.

I hate seeing s*** like that. You'd never see Dave Brown or Bob Probert act so gentlemanly before a fight. Why didn't Laraque just take his glove off and slap Ivanans like he was challenging him to an 18th century duel while he was at it?
-
Sammy would get booeed out of their building every game. The JLA is too quiet for him, so he's pretty fortunate in that regard. He wouldn't get so lucky playing in Canada.
-
Yes! Now we can trade for him before the deadline. He's a big strong Canadian who can fight and hit people. The Cup is ours for sure.

Trade deadline in 2 weeks. Your one winger, and D.

Exactly. He proved that he wasn't a team player after what he did to Zednik. -
I wouldn't call Sundin or Hossa leftovers.
-
So Lydman would be that big, physical defenseman that we've been waiting for. NOT!

In your dreams. 2 bums and a pick for one of the league's superstars is not going to happen. -
Hasn't he been in the doghouse a lot this year? If so, then why would we want Edmonton's leftovers?

Interesting Wings factoids/performance assessments

Has this jackass even seen Sammy play? He was one drink away from naming Sammy as an A level player. -
For the life of me, I can't believe how the Ducks are involved in every trade rumor. First Hossa, then Sundin, now Jagr also. Hell, they might just get all 3 while they're at it, and trade away draft picks only in the process.

I don't know why Carolina chooses to go after offensive minded players like Corvo, and get rid of defensive minded players like Commodore. They have too much of that as it is.
-
He reminds me too much of Damian from "The Omen"
-
After what Jokinen did yesterday, I'm not too sure that I want him on this team.
-
Bettman and espn can both marry each other and go straight to hell as far as I'm concerned. I have no problem with hockey being a niche sport for us hardcore fans. Anyone else is too stupid or too racist to enjoy hockey just because it wasn't invented in the U.S.

That is what I meant, so you misunderstood my argument.
