In that case it's good to see that the Wings haven't lost their popularity. Or maybe there's a few divealanche fans in the stands that are causing all the ruckus. This seems like something that would match their intelligence level.

What's up with Atlanta fans anyway? Have Detroit and Atlanta had some bad blood in previous sports or something? I can't think of any reason for their behavior since I didn't know there were any hockey fans in Atlanta to begin with.

Why is Sundin so eager to spend the rest of his career in Toronto where he knows he'll never win the Cup? If he goes somewhere as a rental player and doesn't win the Cup, then what is he going to do? Is he going to do this at every trading deadline by just going to and from Toronto? There's just too many loopholes in the system right now.

That'll be the day. I've preached that before, but Holland will never take that route. I honestly don't expect any big acquisitions. Hopefully Holland won't do anything stupid like he's done in past years.

I guess that real game shootouts are just about as creative as players need to get. We've seen plenty of great moves in shootouts over the last few years that make a contest like this meaningless. When someone tries to be fancy at the expense of not caring whether they score or not, it just makes things look unnatural.

Legace is annoying because he always plays well against us, yet the last time he suited up for the Wings, he possibly cost us the Cup in 2006. He choked for us, and then went to the enemy. To me that's enough justification to hate him.
