Fun? Huggy bear is fun when he opens it up, but that happens very rarely. Granted, the last 2 years it seems like he's opened it up a bit more, but as for his career, "Fun" is probably the last word anyone would use to describe his fighting style.

The last few years Holland's deadline acquisitions have turned out to be busts. He better get something done, because Anaheim on paper has a better team than us with Selanne in the lineup. I know the homers on LGW won't admit that, but facts are facts. Yeah, having a better team on paper doesn't mean that they'll beat us, but it's definitely something to worry about.

He was only 4 points away from getting rid of that annoying Darryl Sittler commercial. So close, yet so far away.

That would suck. With Luongo in net, they'd be tough to beat even if they don't make any other additions. Hell if Edmonton made the finals a few years ago riding a hot Dwayne Roloson, imagine what a hot Luongo might do. However, they'd probably have to give up a lot to get Sundin, so that lineup might look different.

I know he won't, but as I posted this morning, I'd kill for us to get a guy like McGrattan or Boogaard, since there's always rumors about those guys being moved.

Downey should fight Selanne in that game. I mean it's only fair since you know Pronger will probably fight Datsyuk or Hudler.

Downey has actually had a disappointing year fight wise. Yeah, we finally got a fighter that we haven't had for a long time, but he can't even beat guys who aren't enforcers. His only real win was against McLaren who fights once in a blue moon.

For a c*** that always rants about other GM's taking advantage of s***ty rules, Burke has done a masterful job of doing the same. I only hope the league does something in the offseason to change the rules a bit, so s***bags like Burke can't pull stuff like this again.

No. For some reason because he's Canadian and he was once a great open ice hitter, there's a perception going around that Blake is some great physical D-man. It's simply not true. Yeah he's more physical than Lebda or Rafalski, but is that really saying much? Blake has no intimidation factor left, because I don't think that when teams play the Kings they're afraid of either Blake's physicality or his shot from the point.

The hardest shot isn't as fun with MacInnis not playing anymore. Also, the obstacle course relay was too hard to even comprehend.

I don't know, but supposedly he has a hard right-handed shot from the point, thus he's a scoring defenseman.

We need to go after McGrattan. There's been rumors for the last 2 years that Ottawa has wanted to part ways with him, and he'd be perfect for us. Of course, this will never happen, but if we want to truly stand up to a team like Anaheim, we can't do it with Cleary and Lebda fighting. Those guys don't know what they're doing, and besides, they're only going to get themselves hurt.

I was disappointed with Cleary. Pronger stumbled midway through the fight, and if Cleary knew what the hell he was doing, he could have sent Pronger to ******* la la land with his head down like that. Well, I've always been waiting for Cleary to fight, and now I hope I never see it happen again. Pronger is a ******* spotpicker, though, but what do you expect?

The bottom line is that we need more tougness on this team when we play Anaheim, because you know they're going to take advantage of the biggest asset they have over us. Downey must play in the playoffs if we play them, but I still think we need to get tougher. As for Melrose, why was anyone here even watching espn? I thought you guys were hockey fans.

I have to call it a draw at first glance. Downey is a decent light heavyweight, but we really need a legit heavy in the lineup, since most of Downey's fights have been draws against guys who aren't considered anywhere close to heavyweight, with maybe the exception of Shelley.

I love Drapes, but he has to be the worst breakaway player ever to play hockey considering how many of them he gets, and how rarely he scores on them.
