I'm with you. I've been saying all year that Lilja was going to kill Boogaard eventually. I mean that big oaf can't dodge the "PAIN TRAIN" every game can he? Fedoruk would be small potatoes for Lilja, so I don't see the point of fighting him. Kopecky can take on the Fridge if he pleases.

The only difference between Sammy and Ryder this year is that Ryder never shoots the puck anymore, thus he has no confidence. I hope Holland doesn't make this trade because we don't need anyone's left-overs.

Anytime a guy wears a visor during a fight, I can't see how anyone can say that he won the fight. To me that's an unfair ***** advantage. So guys like Iginla and Tootoo will never get any respect from me for dropping the gloves.

If we git rid of Samuelsson, we'll no longer lead the league in shots every year, or wear out the crest of the other goalie's jersey.

What did you expect? Both those guys are terrified of losing. At the first sign of trouble in a fight, they just tackle the other guy down, or in Chara's case he just slips mysteriously. I'm so tired of this ******* giraffe. He'll never lose a fight in the league so long as he keeps falling down quickly when the other guy starts actually doing something against him.

Jackman is a s***bag (just look at his face for crying out loud) but he's not really a spot picker since he will fight against fighters from time to time.. It's just that every now and then he goes after someone who he knows he has no chance of losing to. I honestly don't know why the hell Babcock would sit Downey against a divisonal opponent.

That shows you what a great fighter Lilja is. He hasn't even thrown a punch in 2 fights, yet he hasn't been beaten yet. Pure dominance.

The "PAIN TRAIN" will take care of boogaard. Downey should just concentrate on Fedoruk who's more evenly matched for him.

I pretty much agree with everything he wrote. There's no point trying to appeal yourself to idiots, so the league might as well stick to its fanbase, and not try to alienate that fanbase.

If Crosby has to fight, then Laraque isn't doing his damn job well enough.

Georges Laraque should be waived if Crosby is getting into fights.

We're lucky the Blues don't have D.J. King or Walker dressed tonight. Then it'd be worse.

If this team keeps winning like this, I'm afraid Holland won't feel like messing with the chemistry of the team. Then we might be in store for another Cory Cross or Kyle Calder.

In all honesty, most college football fans don't know s*** about hockey and vice versa. Yes, there's always exceptions, but what I'm saying is that a true hockey fan will watch this game because you don't get many like it.

I'm actually scared that this team might break that wins record, and then we'll have even more pressure in the playoffs to win. The Wings have had the most points in the league the last 3 seasons and missed the finals each year. 4 straight years of this would just be too embarassing.

I think Drake was just a hunch by Holland that hasn't paid off. Yeah the money investment wasn't big on him, but it's still a waste of roster space that could be used to give someone else a shot. Drake is 40 years old, he's already had his shot.

I can't wait for tomorrow's game. This season has already become boring for me, and we're still 4 months away from the playoffs. Hopefully a divisional game against a rival will start my blood boiling again after these dull games against the Caps and Kings.

And the worst thing is that he hasn't given us the same quality of cheapshots that he provided for the Blues.

The league obviously doesn't take this as seriously as a stick-swinging incident, or else this suspension would have been much higher than his last one, just because the deterrence factor didn't seem to work last time.
