I heard that the Spartans are trying to get this last season listed as a medical red shirt for Foles. I don't know what happened, but hope that he gets the redshirt granted. After Thomas's performance at the bowl game, it was clear he was not ready for the next level and needed another year in college. I got the impression from interveiws that it was Thomas's dad that was the main suporter of going pro. I see him as a third round draft pick.

Hey, he has scored a goal this year. and if I am correct it was the and if I am correct it was the game winner. Nasty also has the second highest win pecentage in the AHL right behind Steve MacIntyre. In all honesty the only one of those two I see every making the NHL is MacIntyre, but Jon would sure draw some fans.

I would not go after any of the established NHL enforcers, rather I would seach some of the minor leagues such as the AHL. Two guys that stick out to me are Steve MacIntyre of the Providence Bruins and Jon Mirasty of the Syracuse Crunch. Here are some of their bouts

The players that I saw in those articles that I would like are John-Michael Liles, Aaron Ward, and eather Sean Avery or Jarkko Ruutu.

Neil Clark and Jamie Carroll from the Port Huron Ice Hawks have recived pro try-outs. Clark has been battling a bit of a injury bug in the begining of the season, but has still has fought 5 times this season in 9 games having mised 13 games with an ankle injury and Carroll has 22 points in 22 games and leads the league in shots on goal. If this happens I will be at both games. Ford Feild wouldn't be too bad, you have to look at how insuffrably cold it would be to sit outdoors for two games back to back. The first Cold War was a blast and this deffinatly should be done.

I will be at both days of the GLI this year. Michigan should have no problem with Providence, but I am a little worried about the Michigan State - Michigan Tech game. Tech is a good team this year and State has been a bit inconsistant, but State luckly State is not losing anyone to Juniors and Crowder has really started to come on as of late, scoring four goals last weekend meaning the 09 line is in great shape and a major threat.

I did not know about that. To be honest, Michigan probably would have beaten them soundly if the game was in Ann Arbor. Hawaii always gets the 12th man advtage on games on the island, with the 12th man being the refs.

The tried to get Michigan State, not Michigan. Before the season MSU paid $250,000 so that they would not have to go to Honolulu, witch MSU was not the first team to do so. Florida State did the same thing last year. After the way things wentlast time MSU played there in '05 I do not blame MSU, that game had some of the worst officiating and cheapest play I had ever seen. Holy crap! The Pitt vs West Virgina game had the worst officiating I have ever seen and yet with so many bad calls against them Pitt pulls the upset. It also looks like Oklahoma is going to beat Mizzou, soundly. What does this do to the BCS?

Based on the impression I got, I don't think he is going to Michigan. The think about the contract extention was from a comment from LSU's AD in an ESPN article. Oh , LES did directly mention LSU. The video is in the link also. ESPN: Miles will stay at LSU, working out new contract

Les Miles had a short press conference, not taking any questions. He basically said that he is the coach at LSU, and plans to stay that. He also said he has no intentions to talk to any other teams. He did not even directly mention Michigan at any point during the press conference.

I would love John-Michael Liles, he is a great offensive defenceman. I would also love Chris Gratton he is good with his fist, but also can put up some decent numbers offencively. I know many of you will disagree with me on this one but I would like Sean Avery back in the winged wheel, There is something to be said for having an agitator like that in your line-up. I also would like Ilya Bryzgalov.

In an Edmonton Sun article it looks like Forsburg may be playing in the NHL by November and the Red Wings are NOT in the mix for the teams that he may play on. In the bottom of the article it looks like Ottawa may be willing to trade McGrattan. Edmonton Sun Article

I have heard alot of talk about people wanting Les Miles as the next coach since he was an assistant under Bo. Who else has been rumored to be a posibility as the new coach? On Fox Sports they mentioned Brian Kelly at Cincinnati, this I don't understand since he is in his first year down there.

Won't happen, the LNAH now requires that incoming players for the league be born in Quebec. Fedoruk was born in Redwater, Alberta. You gave the reason it won't happen, its Kenny. After all he belives our power play is our enforcer.

Every school has fans that are complete assholes. I was at a hockey game at WMU, and a guy came up and spit tobbaco juice on my jersey (I prompty pinned him against a wall and punched him three times,breaking his nose).

I was watching that game last night after I got home from the MSU hockey game. It looked like Oregon lost Dixon and another top player. I thought it was funny to see the students start pileing onto the sidelines at about four minutes remaining. I was suprised to see the students stay on the side lines until the end of the game, I thought for sure they would jump the gun and come onto the feild before the end of the game.
