It looks like Anaheim is going to go after Jared Boll of the Blue Jackets during tonights game. I have found several sources saying the Ducks are going to be targeting Boll for a hit earlier this season that KOed Moen. I hope that for Boll's sake Jody Shelley. People also need to keep in mind that all of the losses this season have been by 7 points or less and that MSU has actully been in all of the games that they have played, something that could not be said about that mess of a football team last year.

Nah, the game was going to be at state. The Cold War was during the last season that State had artificial turf, at that point Michigan had grass and the ice sheet would have left a 200' by 85' spot in the middle of the feild with dead grass from the cold. With the game was in the middle of football season (Oct. 6) It wasnt going to be at Michigan Stadium. Besides the game was Mark Hollis's (incoming AD at State) idea. I was at this game and it was a blast. Michigan Stadium would be a very good choice for venue for the Wings. I also like Toranto as the opponent, but I could also see Chicago being a possibility. Mabye make a hockey festival of the event and have a rematch of MSU and Michigan and maybe a Griffiins game as well before the Wings game.

How is not Jehue is walking the walk. He is tied for number 3 in the nation in points with 108 points scored and had two touchdowns in the game against Michigan. Mike Hart is in the 28 spot with 72 points scored and failed to put up any points. Instead he spent most of the game on the sidelines watching. Here is an article off of WILX news 10. mannysBETTER3434 , sorry about atacking you earlier in this topic, I shouldn't have done this. I just happen to be still annnoyed about siting through that game and seeing State blow it in the end. One thing is certain after seing that game and all that happened after and that I think MSU is finally starting to head in the corect direction (while we are 5-5 all the losses have been by 7 points or less), the rivaly may finally get to be respectable and tough fought once again.

Take your maise and blue glasses off and try to look at how you would have reacted if a comment was about the team you were on. Hart's comments were arrogant and unneccary. But of course you probably think Hart's comments were hilarious and that after Michigans performance they earned the right to say whatever they damn well please. And I don't see why you even care what MSU says or does. Most Michigan fans think MSU is far below them.

I know what you mean, during the pre-season I mentioned that song in a GDT and noone knew what I was talking about.

I was at the MSU-Michigan game tonight. While I am frustrated that State could not hold on and win, I still am pleased with how they didn't give up and kept pluging away. At the end of the game several State"fans" were screaming for Dantonio to be fired immediatly because of he play calling. I think that by next year State will be doing much, much better and probably in two years be challenging for the Big Ten crown. People need to give Coach Dantonio time to get in some of his own recruts.

This was during a MJAHL game a couple days ago. The teams are Summerside and Halifax. The whole thing starts with a player chasing a player from the other team across the ice and onto the other teams bench wear a couple more players jump onto the bench to fight as well. One of the team trainers even goes after a ref. The only thing that I really thought was nuts was going into the bench in order to fight as well as the trainer throwing punchs at a ref. I have been involved in bigger fights than that, but during those the players went off of the bench onto the ice, not from the ice onto the bench.

My understanding about the guy that tucked tail and ran is that that was his first game back form some major facial injurys from a fight earlier this season. But he should not have ran like that, he should have turtled or taken out the guys legs out.

Actully, the past several games Hitchcock has been giving Shelley a healthy scratch, and he did it tonight as well.

The main thing I am woried about is that State is without 3 defenive players (SirDarean Adams, T.J. Williams and Jeremy Ware) because they were recently charged with unarmed robbery from an incident in April.

I got the news of the suspension on my phone via a text messsage from ESPN earlier today. Two games is weak, it loks like we are headed back to old suspension standards. I also think that we are seeing the re-emergance of the Broadstreet Bullies in Philly, after all they know have three notible suspensions this year (Downie, Boulerice, Jones).

Actully OEC is also used by alot of white water rafting companies because it also deals with water rescues. I was looking at the score sheet yesterday and Butcher got an assist on NMU's second goal on Saturday. Yeah BU is really has got to hate CCHA, after all last season it was a number tree seeded MSU team that beat BU in the first round of the NCAA's last season.

I would not be suprised to see Michigan State lose all of the remaining games. My prediction for the game in E.L. this weekend is UM 42 MSU 10. While I think it is still too early, after all he is playing mostly John L. recruits, look for people to begin calling for Dantonio to be fired after the game.

Michigan State won the game tonight 5-4, at one point MSU had a 5-1 lead, but squanderd it away with sloppy play in the third. Butcher is very solid on his feet and had some good solid hits at the end of the game he was taking most of the key draws for the Wildcats, but I do not think that he regesterd a point. Tomarrow night should be a good game and Abs had a goal and assist as well as about three HUGE hits. Oh, I teach a class called Outdoor Emergancy Care. It is basically the equivalent of an EMT basic, but more geared for winter enviroment (which is why Ski Patrol uses it).

I was just over at DYG and watched the Chara - Koci bout and all I can say is DAMN. Alll the people their gave Chara a decicive or clear win execept for one delusional guy who gave Chara the slightest of edge.

I will be missing tonights game because I am going to see the Blue Man Group at Michigan State tonight. I hope the wings play well and have a solid night in net from Dom. I hope that Downey and Ellis continue with the great forecheck and maybe even have Downey throw his fists a bit.
