That used to happen at Yost before the remodled it. They used to have the players come ot and skate laps trying to get the air moving because the fog would get so dence that you couldn't see the other end of the ice.

Actually some of the best fights I have see have been in college hockey. The players know that they are going to be sitting out the next game so they go all out and get they moneys worth. Last season at a Michigan State game against Alaska the coachs were in each otheres faces and about half of each of both of the teams were absolutly pounding the snot outa each other, including one MSU player smashing an Alaska plyers head into the glass repeatedly.

Honestly, I have to agree with you. I myself could really care if Forsburg came here, especally since he is so injury prone. -
Speaking of beatdowns, did anyone see the Koci vs Belak fight? Belak bloodied Koci preaty bad.

I will be at the two games this coming weekend. I can keep an eye on him for the two games at MSU. Oh by the way Red Wing prospect Justin Abdelkader looked great this weekend. He scored two goals over the weekend, and laid out some huge hits. On the second game against Colgate he was the number 1 star of the night, and had the game winning goal. The best part of the weekend was when Jeff Lerg stoned a Colgate player on a penalty shot.

Big Ten is airing four MSU games this season. Nov. 23 vs Minnesota Nov. 24 vs Wisconsin Jan. 18 at Ohio State Feb. 1 vs Nebraska - Omaha

I have Michigan State season tickets again this year. I am looking forward to tonights game because they are raising the banner. I also try to go to two or three road games a year.

Probably the only reason class got canceled was that it was hard for our orchestra to rehearse with the storm sirins going off. The storm is preaty much done here, I hope things don't get to nasty over your way.

I know what you mean as far as the storms. My class at State was canceled due to the storm sirens constantly going off. I then had to wait a half hour before heading home because of a tornado in Clinton County (where I live).

I know. Just after last night I am a bit angry at Filppula, he has not played well this season and if he doesn't start producing he should be trade bait.

Give them Filppula, Kronwall, and a draftpick, see if they go for it.

I don't think that Downey is a better fighter, but Downey is still a decent fighter and does have a hell of a punch and was a very good wrestler. Boulerice is a legit heavy and has several KO and TKO wins, and has won against some of the biggest of guys, such as Koci.

I would love him as a Wing. He is a hard hitting forward that can score goals, and does not shy away from a fight. He averages about 4 fights a season.

I saw this on TSN and all I can say is that this bonehead did it to himself. He had already been banned from OHL for a simmler incident. He was given a second shot at being an NHL enforcer and he blew it. TSN article

I have a feeling that there will be a fight tonight. By the way did anyone see the 3rd period of Toronto vs Buffalo. The two teams scored a combined 6 goals, Buffalo won in OT with 3 seconds left.

Grigs sounds like Lang in that aspect, except Lang has scored.
