I think Babcock wins it this year to join Blashill on top of the coaching world. Not sure how the hell the Griffins have a better record this year than last year with half the Griffins helping the Wings make the playoffs. Unbelievable job by the entire Wings organization. The Avs won the draft lottery last year after dealing with the type of injuries we had this year. Roy got to deal with a fully healthy team this year + McKinnon which the last coach didn't have. Basically, Babcock coached last years Avs team to the playoffs if you think about it. I'd give it to Babcock because of that. I don't always agree with all of Babs' decisions, but he deserves it this year. The Avs have a good record, but I wouldn't say he did anything spectacular.

By far my favorite team against my 3rd favorite team....yay. I wish this was the East final and all the trash was already taken out.

I like both teams, but if I had to pick a team to move on it would be the Flyers. They're far more interesting than the Rangers, and should the Penguins unfortunately move forward, I love watching the battle of Pennsylvania as both teams goon it up.

Washington doesn't have the heart to win 3 games to make the playoffs. They'll go 1-2. As for tonight's game, I think the Wings surprise some people on here and win this game 4-1 with a full 60 minute effort and Glendening makes Crosby completely melt down.

Datsyuk never said a word to the ref. He just went into a glide behind the net. He likely knew that a call was on it's way and hence floated away. When do you ever see Dats say anything to a ref? If anything, Z is the vocal one but he's freakishly intense, not whiny. It's really all about how you play out the situation. If you come across as a whiny idiot, the refs don't listen, and especially if you whine constantly about everything. Take Tuzzi for example, he gives the ref an earful every time he gets a penalty. The likes of Dats and Glendening don't say a word. Crosby also ******* about every single call that goes against his team. Hell, he pisses and moans about consussions, yet he never said anything was wrong with Cooke's hits to peoples heads. Z complains about bad calls and he skates off quietly when he deserved the penalty. It's perception I guess, but many perceive Crosby as a whiner where they don't perceive Dats and Z as them. Toews better be careful before he gets the label as I stated in my last post. I think another good example of the Z like Captain is Backes, where he's the intense guy that knows when he's been had on a call and skates silently to the box when he's been caught red handed.

Ya Crysby will have loads of fun tonight and in a 7 game series should he have to play the whole thing against Helm and Glendening together. I expect to see a lot of waterworks from him regardless of the outcome. Honestly, I think Crosby is one of the best players in the world, but for various reasons, mainly stated in this thread, I can't like or cheer for him. He will always be labelled as a ****** to me, especially come playoffs when he tries to grow another dirtstache. Toews went Crysby last year in the playoffs and lost a lot of respect in the hockey world, let's hope not many more follow suit. Let's all just be glad we have Dats and Z leading our team. Cooler heads prevail.

Sproul would have to be on a line with a really good defensive Dman at this point. I think that Ouellet would be great right now. His hockey IQ is off the charts. Let's put it this way, Holland has a lot of choices this summer as to who can, will, or should be on the team. He better not mess it up.
