I'm not using Quincey as an excuse. The pairing just doesn't mesh well. And I agree with you, Quincey has been really good in this series. Re-read my post and point out the part where I blame Q. I said he hasn't been bad, and Smith needs to pay the f*** attention. Q is a TWD that likes to roam sometimes, Smith is a OFD that loves to roam all the time. Babcock needs to keep him on a leash in the defensive zone, while allowing him to roam the offensive zone which he does very well. I just think that Q should be on with Kronwall and Smith with Ericsson whom is our best shutdown guy. One things' for sure though, there is a lack of communication out there. Our D need to talk more and Jimmy needs to bark out orders like a General. And the centremen should also direct traffic out there. This is where our leaders need to take over, cause Babcock can't jump the boards.

Helm would in all likelyhood make that 3rd line even better, but the chemistry is there on the 3rd already, so we have Helm as our 4th line C and put 2 guys on there that could compliment him. I like Tootoo and Callahan personally.

I watched it and was laughing at the Sharks when they got scored on and when Pavelski had the whole net to shoot at with no one on him or between him and Quick and slid it right in his glove. I'm beyond ecstatic that they're gone. Get up, come on get down with the Quickness!

I was wayyy more nervous for the Ducks game 7. Probably cause I hate them insane amounts. I just hope if the Squabs win they earn it. He needs a D partner like DeKeyser. Give Kronwall Q and see how many times he gets burnt, which is just as many as Smith in the playoffs if some people havn't noticed. Smith has all the tools, now he just needs to pay more ******* attention and he needs a more defensively sound partner. Q hasn't played bad, but sometimes you need to look at the pairings and know that they don't mix well. The only Dman that could get away with playing with anyone and make them look good is having his number retired next season.

I love me some Wings and I am quite proud of them this year. Especially for not castrating the officials in game 6, which they had all the reason in the world to do. I love how they're always calm, cool and collected. It makes it a little easier for my blood pressure to go down when crap like game 6 happens. Let's hope we see an all ings WCF!

We don't have home ice next game, so if I were Babcock, I'd say if you wanna skate hard get ready to go on the ice cause we ain't matching up s***. We're taking quick hard skating shifts and if you can't get anything going, get off the ice and let the next line at em'. You have 4 capable lines or you don't, and our 3rd line has been our best 5 on 5 by far.

And where was Brunner's penalty shot this series when he got the corkscrew in the hands on a breakaway, or when Roszival two-handed Abdelkader's stick out of his hands on a breakaway that was pointed out in a .gif in the last GDT? Therefore, Mr. Fraser, the call was flat out ******* wrong and by this series' standards isn't even a penalty.

Maybe if Smith were out there in his rookie season with a solid D veteran barking at him when he gets out of position and blows coverage, he'd progress faster and learn from his mistakes while he's making them and gets into the motions of getting back in position during the plays. Just another reason he should have been on the team full time last year so he could learn from and with Lids, Stuart and a 2nd line Kronwall.

Flip is junk, Franzen is floating, and Cleary tries but just isn't top 6. Make that the 4th line and reunite Z-Dats-Abs, make Goose-Andersson-Brunner the 2nd line and the 3rd line Tuzzi-Emmerton-Eaves. Miller hasn't played bad, but he's kinda slow and we need Tuzzi in there to be silky smooth while remaining large and in charge.

The NHL wanted 7 games of revenue, and they're getting it. Let's hope they actually let the winning team earn their win.
