Ian White is a far bigger defensive liability than Smith. Sure Smith was 90% responsible for 2 of the goals against last night, but White would have done the same, and that's why he's not in the line-up. At least Smith can make a breakout pass without icing the puck or turning it over, White cannot.

True, and the officiating in the NHL is a joke on the whole, but in game 6 there was a difference. The refs chose a side. Playing favorites didn't happen noticably until game 6, and it was a disgusting display.

Brunner would be better served not on the 4th line and Andersson needs to start hitting with his 6'3 frame to be tougher to play against, but that does look good aside from that. Not sure if Horton will be available, or if he'll still be useful though. He's good, but his hustle level could be better.

Games 1-5 the team that worked harder won. Game 6 is why to so many the NHL is not taken seriously in the realm of major sports. The Hawks are a great team, and I've always been a fan of theirs, but the fact that they needed the refs to help them win that game is complete garbage. If the refs will in fact "let them play" in game 7, keep it fair and make calls both ways. The penalty shot call was garbage in a series perspective, cause if that's a penalty shot, then Abdelkader and Brunner should each have a penalty shot this series. All we ask for is across the board consistency, and game 6 broke that.

My cable is getting cancelled today. IF, and that's a big IF my heart can handle what the refs have in store for us in game 7 and I actually watch it, I'll have to do it on my Xbox. I'm still pissed this morning and the NHL can still go f*** itself. If the Wings lose legitimately in game 7, then I'll renew my cable when hockey starts up again and get Gamecentre. But if it's like game 6 again and the Wings are never even given a chance cause of some of the worst officiating I've ever seen, I will renew neither. I know being an NHL ref is a hard job, but they're PAID professionals and they should act as such. Last night, they did not. I refuse to give TV broadcasters and the NHL what little money I have.
