I don't care what anyone says about this. Agree or disagree. DeKeyser is the best Dman I've seen with his stick at reading plays and poking the puck away from the opposition since our boy Nick Lidstrom. We need this kid on the ice for 25 minutes a game shutting down the other teams best players.

Brendan Smith will definitely continue to grow as a player getting scratched for Carlo ******* Coliacovo. He gives us less of a chance of winning than Smith does.

Mrazek can split the time with Howie in a few years if he's good enough. Howard is good enough, so we at least have a legit #1 tender back there for the next 6 years.

We have possibly the best D depth in the league for prospects, and goalies coming up in Mrazek and Patterson. The only real thing the Wings need to get back on top is a legit power forward and a sniper. 2 pieces away from being cup contenders or possible favourites in 1-2 years.

They also went an ENTIRE CBA without making the playoffs. To play with urgency, one must skate with urgency. No sense of purpose whatsoever. It doesn't help that Z looks like he's hurting bad right now. Groin issues this year, back issues in the past. It's like he's got tar on his skates. And i'm not blasting him, he's my favourite player, but he's not a difference maker right now. If we actually win the next 5 games, sit him until playoffs if we lock up at least 8th. + Howard standing on his head 60 mins each game.

I'd actually rather them play the Ducks. I'd like to see Chicago sweep Minnesota and centcougar come on here saying how they were wronged somehow, and most of all I will be paying close attention to 3 vs 6. I want to see Backes completely goon up the Sedin sisters and we can all brace ourselves for an epic divefest of Perron vs.....well, pretty much the entire Cansucks team.
