MTS Centre in Winnipeg needs 3000 more seats. There's a stupid waiting list just to get single tickets and pairs. If there was 3000 more seats here the Jets would be top 5 in revenue. Not to mention our ticket prices are near the top. Someone told me 2nd. Side note: I haven't been to an NHL game since Selanne was a Jet and they beat Dallas 7-6 with 4 goals by Teemu and I get to go to the game on the 16th against Tampa and see Stamkos, which should be pretty damn exciting. Hopefully Yzerman's there.

Im gonna take a wild guess and say that Jurco on the top line with Dats is so he can learn from him. The hands Jurco has he could be a lot like Dats.

That's why I was saying to give the vets 1 year contracts so they expire each year and Holland can re-evaluate who he wants on the team and which young guys are ready to come up. Meaning that I wish Holland had signed Colo, Sammy, Bert and those type guys to 1 year when he gave them all 2. I think we're agreeing on the same point but starting at different points.

The one positive part of losing some great Dmen is that some of our young D get a lot of playing time, and in all situations. Danny DeKeyser stepped in and has been really good and steady so far. Kindl is the single most improved player in the NHL this year. He's looking comfortable and he's shooting and doing it with confidence. Kronwall has had ups and downs, but he's used to looking around and seeing Lids, Stuart and Rafs. He's by far the most affected by the departures. More than even Babcock and Holland, cause Kronwall's on the front lines with a bunch of rookies and at times it shows. As for the signings, Kenny needs to start handing out 1 year deals to guys like Colo and Sammy and even Tuzzi. Too many guys with the last year of their contracts taking ice time from young, ready prospects like Nyquist, Tatar and Smith last year who could have benefitted greatly from a season with Lids. Notice last year Smith had 7 pts in 14 games and looked like a future superstar. This year he's been good, but he's making the rookie mistakes that he didn't last year.

Kronwall gets a penalty for putting his hand on the puck, but the Blues player can lay on it for 15 seconds? Maybe time to revisit the rule book and make an automatic blow down for ragging the puck on the boards for 3+ seconds or laying on the puck.

At this point, I'll agree. Maybe that'll light a fire under his ass.

After reviewing the standings, I'd like for the Blues to finish 6th and goon up the Canucks, the Wings to stay in 7th and horribly upset the Ducks and the Wild in 8th so Chicago can show just how far the Wild have "really come".

I'm trying to be a homer. I'm thoroughly impressed with the kid. Last minute there Filppula just wished White had an ounce of passing skill. He was ripping up the middle with speed and an open passing lane to get it. Conclusion: White is not good.
