True. Being tall like that and 185 pounds may have something to do with it too. If he were wider, he may not look as tall. More nice hustle and hands from Goose. Dekeyser with a really solid shift there. Good job on the slap pass to the front of the net to Emmerton. Heads up plays, and keeps the blue line as well.

He'll be even more unhappy when the cap goes down to 64.3 mil next season. The days of spending big in the NHL ended in 2004, 2 CBA's ago when the salary cap came in and was what...46 million or something like that? It's hard to get the best players when your GM spends responsibly for the most part and almost every other GM raises players stock by overpaying because the guy in question may be the "1 missing piece" to their roster. Not any of our managements fault that most of the last free agents wanted to play where they grew up, though Dekeyser chose us so we can be thankful for that. I have a feeling that Kenny's gonna strike gold when teams need to shed salary, or when they can't afford to keep all their good players and Kenny has the cap space to give them the extra .5 mil that their team was unable to offer them. In all likelyhood, Kenny will push to get a guy like Clarkson or Raymond, or both this summer when they're UFA and their GM is fumbling to shed salary.

I definitely did not think of that. However I do like that you like my usual level of creativity. I never went to university, so I usually learn interesting big words from Drake Marcus and then I google them. His relative inactivity lately has forced me to make my own words up and has resulted in an epic fail. At least I still have Rue Miller.
