Looking very much forward to seeing how McKee develops. He's a nasty individual by the sounds of it.

Kindl has been "garbage" the past 2 games. Other than that he's actually transformed into a good Dman for the Wings. The main problems on our blue line are the odd rookie mistake, but we're in a transition so those are excusable, and guys like White, Coliacovo and Quincey being "garbage".

I'd rather watch the kids screw up and make rookie mistakes and learn from them than watch some of our vets make rookie mistakes and often get rewarded with more playing time. I'm a lot easier on the kids watching their potential on the ice.

Where's Blueadams? We need a "what's your ideal playoff lines" thread.

Not really sure I meant that to be used in such a dirty way that you're perceiving it, but ok, we'll just go with plugs as an analogy for our guys who should be replaced by guys like Tatar. Not trying to incite anger...

For some of us, it's not so much rooting against our team as being ok with them missing the playoffs for the greater good of the team. Getting a higher pick in not just the 1st round, but for the other 6 as well would do us some good. Getting a top 10-15 pick could be huge this year, and then 40-45 instead of the usual 25 and 55.

All the while the BJ's have 3 1st round picks to build around him, Atkinson, Calvert and Murray moving forward. They're gonna be really really good in a couple years.

Jesus....how many of our D are playing forward? Or are 2 of them working gates? Either way, assuming Danny D plays, I hope he gets a goal, an assist, +3 rating with 5 shots and 5 hits and never sits in the press box again for the likes of Colo and White.

Franzen was picking his nose there dude. It got stuck for a few shifts. That's why I refer to many of our players as "line-up tampons". All they do is stop a little of the bleeding and fill a hole. The girls may not enjoy this analogy, but can admit it's truth and it's comparison for some of our guys. We sign Danny D and he gets to watch some Red Wing hockey, although not exactly what he grew up watching. Coliacovo is a line-up tampon and his spot belongs to Dekeyser, whom Holland asked to join the team to make it better.

That coyote howl is the most annoying sound in the entire NHL.

We shouldn't have to rely on other teams to lose. Wings should go about Wings business and win their own games and not give a s*** what other teams do.

I would LOVE to see Tootoo go eye for and eye on that m*****f***** and rip his leg clean off and beat him with it. Morris is and has always been a cheap shot artist.

Why isn't Dekeyser playing? Good thing he's a Wings fan so he doesn't completely mind watcjingthe games...

He's essentially our Tomas Holmstrom now, but never comes out of the corner with the puck like Homer did. Cleary is terrible with the puck and falls down a lot. All of his goals are from the top of the crease a la Homer where he either tips the puck or taps it in while someone else gets the puck there and he only has a whopping 2 assists cause he can't pass worth a damn. And I'm really sick of watching him take horrible shots from almost the goal line straight bread basket and the same thing from the side boards.

The notion of the Wings going to the East has been floaitng around for years, and with the realignment proposals being tabled for a few years now, Holland started his plan last year in the draft when the smallest player he drafted was 6'0. I'm all for getting big players, see my sig below, but I don't think Ryan Clowe is the answer. I just pure don't like the guy. Too many years of hating the douchey s*** he does against the Wings I guess. I'd rather Holland offer Clarkson 5 mil per or so and try to get him out of Jersey. I'm really looking forward to the days when we have Sheahan and Andersson as mainstays in the bottom 6, and bigger skilled guys like Frk, Tvrdon and Jurco (which would make a badass line BTW) finding their way into our top 6 to help balance out smaller guys like Tatar and Nyquist. One of the main reasons I in no way want Holland to trade our 1st pick this year is cause there's so many big forwards in the 1st round. We need to keep drafting big and make offers to guys like Clarkson this offseason, as well as Mason Raymond...differnece makers like those guys.

That's cause Cleary is on there when Tatar should be. I don't have the luxury of realistically not adding Cleary in Tatar's spot.

Babcock loves having a grinder go get the puck for his small skilled guys, therefore, when Helm gets back, some nice pairings could be: Z-Dats-Abby Franzen-Flip-Cleary (cause he won't put him on the 4th line...) Nyquist-Helm-Brunner 4th line insert here. Abby, Cleary and Helm retrieve the puck.
