I've been hit everywhere else on my body with slapshots and it sucks every time. I took a clapper off the hamstring on my left leg this year and could hardly walk for a week. Still played hockey, but in a fair amount of agony. Only took a puck off the face a couple times, usually on flick out clears and deflections and that hurts and gives you fat lips and nice cuts. Taking a 90+ mile and hour shot off the face, no thanks. I actually do feel kinda bad for Cindy, but at least this time he has a reason to Crysby.

Crosby got a messed up grill dog! I can't really tell though if he has a fat lip or not as they're naturally quite large. Those uniforms are so ugly, not even the puck wants to hit it... He'll be fine after another year off and back to getting almost 2 pts per game. Great player, but him not being able to talk might be a blessing. The reporters may find out that he's not the only Penguin who can mumble through an interview. Oh I say you he dead. Sorry dude...i'm going to bed now. I think i'm kinda tired.

Cause a deal was apparently being wrapped up between the Flames and Bruins and then Iginla walks back in the office and says, naw, I only want the Pens now. Did you miss the part where everyone and their dog went to bed thinking Iginla was going to Boston and we all woke up to find that he was traded to Pittsburgh? I have no problem grasping concepts at all.

Guess that's what happens when the list of teams you want to go to magically goes from 4 to 1 cause this one time in the Olympics, Iginla passed Crosby the puck and then it went in the net... I can no longer be a fan of Iginla either way now that he's a Penguin.

It's nice to be on the end finally where a player is from Michigan and wants to play for the Wings and picks the Wings over 29 other teams. No trade partner needed for this one and aside from Stevie Y in Tampa, the other 28 GM's can suck it! That pretty much sums up how I feel about Dekeyser signing with the Wings, and it feels good.

Datsyuk already gave 2 years of his prime to the KHL cause of the garbage lockouts. We need Dats to help push for a cup we'll be in contention for in 2015 and help turn many of our prospects into top caliber players, namely Jurco, Frk, Tatar, and Athaniesou while Z grooms the likes of Jarnkrok, Nyquist and Tvrdon. This is just me hoping he stays and helps build the future and win a cup in 2 years from now when our young guys are stepping up to the plate.

yup. I'm getting tired of this waiting game crap too. The way I see it is if Dekeyser was going to sign with the Wings, he would have just done it already. If he's a true lifelong Wings fan, it's a no brainer if he gets his choice of any team in the league....sign with the one you've been a fan of all your life.
