If Buffalo is willing to trade, it's really dependant on who. Pominville would be my choice. I'd rather package Flip with someone else to the Rangers for Gaborik, poop myself cause we got him, and then trade for him in GM mode in NHL 13 (the exact reverse of how we usually do it here) and be quite happy, but I'd like for the Rangers to actually shed light on Gaborik's availability before I get all giddy about him. Even though I kinda am already...

In a sense the injuries may be why the boys are doing so good. The youth kept the Wings going full steam and the unknown for other teams, the can't make a game plan or line up match against what they don't know.

The good thing about selling guys as well is the teams buying want roster players to add depth, and while not all of us like the guys and see their value, guys like White, Quincey, Cleary etc could fit in with other teams plans. If it were up to me, my trading block would include: Franzen, Filppula, Cleary, Eaves, Emmerton, White, Quincey, Samuelsson, Huskins, Coliacovo and Mursak and I'd accept draft picks. Stock pile the picks and hope for the best, cause our trading partners still aren't lining up by the looks of it.

One more thing. Is Hudler the Flames captain yet?

I'd be happy with just getting Dekeyser, but a part of me really wants Gaborik. It would bring back a sort of feeling I had watching guys like Fedorov and Hossa flying high in the Winged Wheel. Those guys with breakaway speed like Kane and Wheeler on the Jets are exciting as hell to watch game in game out. Message to Ray Shero, good job at the deadline....enjoy crunching the numbers all summer trying to re-sign guys when the cap goes down 8 mil.
