I like em. I'd buy one. It's the Winter Classic....they want the jerseys to be throwback style. And I for one love tie up necks. They're more comfortable when you're playing too. looser around the neck restricts your upper body less.

They're doing a great job that's for sure. The big thing i noticed with the Hawks this year, and i've watched probably 12 of their games so far, is that they don't hit the panic button. This team they have is very calm and one of their other strongest assets is that they are a very young, quick team. They would badly outwork Vancouver in a 7 game series, probably taking it in 5. St Louis may be able to stop them if they get it together again, but i guess we'll see when they roll into the playoffs 1st in the west.

That's pretty much what i'm seeing from them too. and with how much Cleary and Abs are bringing to the table, why not load up an offensive line. that's what the top 6 or in some cases top 9 is for. offensive threats. your 4th line is your energy line, and 3rd can be a skilled grind line. we have a top line, a grind line and 2 energy lines. time to mix it up and get some actual proper line combos to bulge some twine.

Not me. I'm actually looking forward to a top 10 pick. Ryan Pulock would look nice on the Wings blueline. Our D has no identity this year, nor does our team. It's at a point where not being able to hold a single 2 goal lead has made me want the boys to miss the playoffs so we can bring in at least 1 top 10 pick to give us some immediate top end young talent even if just for 1 year to transition this team to a younger core with our top prospects. it's time to run down the clock on signings like Cleary, Quincey, Sammy, etc and replace them with Jarnkrok, Sproul, Ouellet. Missing the playoffs may be the best thing to happen and give us a franchise Dman.

It is Babcock's decision to play Cleary in the top 6 over Tatar. I'm kinda torn on this one whether or not he should be fired. The way this team is being run this year though is really pissing me off. Nyquist better be up when this season is lost. The 2nd line should be Gus-Dats-Tatar. As much as I hate to say it, it may be time for some house cleaning after this year and let Babcock and Holland walk, but I may be wrong. I'd love to see a team that can hold a 2 goal lead like we used to.

There was no salary cap so we could get Hull, Robitaille, Hasek and such all in the same year and collect money for them all the way to the SCF. not really sure how much was given up for any of the above.

I'd rather waive guys like Sammy and Cleary and give guys like Nyquist and Sheahan ice time to get them ready for next year. Trade Q for a broken skate sharpener and keep Lashoff up full time and see if Almqvist can hack it. and for s***s and giggles, bring Jurco up for a couple games and put him straight in the top 6 with Dats and Tatar to give him a taste and give Dats some youth to have some fun with. lastly, just for 1 game when Helm gets back, i'd like to see a line of Tootoo-Helm-Callahan and have them completely ruin the night for a top line on the other team. Tatar with a measly 10:03 TOI, and he hustled and made nice plays and worked his ass off the whole time he was out there. Maybe if he was getting top 6 mins we'd be far better off. and at .500 we need to try something better than wasting Dats with Cleary and Abs. Abs is good, but Cleary needs to grind away on the 4th line. May as well bring Gus back up and use this season as a tryout.

Loved him since he was a Brandon Wheat King. Hopefully I'll love another future Wing Pulock on the Wheat Kings. that would be me hoping we draft Pulock.
